Trump explains exactly why he wants to admit Russia back into the G-7.....

"We spend probably 25 percent of our time talking about Russia," he stated.... "I said to myself, wouldn't it be better if they were here? I'm not for Russia, I'm for the United States, but as an example example, if Vladimir Putin were sitting next to me today instead of one of the others, and we were having dinner the other night in Canada, I could say, 'would you do me a favor? Would you get out of Syria? Would you do me a favor, would you get out of the Ukraine.'"

"I think I would probably have a good relationship with him or I'd be able to talk to him better than if you call somebody on the telephone," Trump continued. "It's better off as a G-8 rather than a G-7, and a lot of people agree with me."

"If he were at that meeting, I could ask him to do things that are good for the world, that are good for our country, that are good for him."

He’s right. The G8 works better with Russia hearing what we have to say. Maybe the sanction was ok. We have made our point and it is time to talk.

Trump could even tell Vlad that he’ll have a lot more flexibility after the 2020 election.

Russia should have never been allowed to join in the first place. It was just Clinton making a gesture of good will, that later turned out unjustified. Russians never work in good faith in these organizations.

Russia is now a Christian nation.

The United States no longer is.

Trump exudes “Common Sense.” His assessment on Russia is the clearest example of his common sense approach to doing business on an international level. Levin had his panties in a wad tonight because Trump had praised the the North Korean dictator during their historic meeting. He criticized Trump for suspending the joint training exercises. As Trump explained, the exercises were provocative during the ongoing larger nuclear treaty discussions. How the hell are you going to close the deal if you keep poking the numerous negatives in the eye of your adversary. It's a psychological chess game and Levin is as brain dead on N. Korea as he was during the national elections. He needs to confine his discussions to Constitution issues and let Trump do his magic.

The MSM audience would not understand that Trump was quoting Obama, and the MSM would not let them in on the joke.

“Would you get out of Syria? Would you do me a favor, would you get out of the Ukraine.’”

No and No. Next question.

Trump needs to start his own MAGA international summits.

Countries like Italy, Poland, Hungary. Countries that believe in making their countries great again. When the UK releases Robinson and gets out of the EU, they can join too.

Re: 7

I'm not sure I'd state it that bluntly.
God seems to have given us a reprieve and given us a President who might be flawed (in the mold of Samson), but who is actually doing very tangible things to help Christians throughout the world. So at this time, I believe we have an Executive branch that is 'Christian'. The Nation's media is Godless (as well as probably the two other branches of Government) - but the current Executive Branch seems to be pretty solid.

But I agree with you that America has been an enemy of Christians for many years - Christians throughout the world (Iraq, Syria, Nigeria, Egypt, etc) have been attacked, and our State department has raised very few objections. This was particularly true during the Obama presidency, and - unfortunately - also during President Bush's term. President Trump, though, actually has been a positive influence.

Although Russia has stood strong against the Sodomite lobby, and they have supported Christians in Syria (albeit I think this is more due to their strategic purposes - than for their love for Christians) - they still have a very high abortion rate. Also, I believe that they are not very welcoming to 'non-Orthodox' Christians and missionaries.

Putin's Russia has been surprisingly better for Christians - and better than I would have guessed when he started. I'd just not put things in as black a white manner as you stated. Two years ago - yes - but not today.

LBJ once remarked, “It’s probably better to have him inside the tent pissing out, than outside the tent pissing in.”
, regarding FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover, quoted in The New York Times (31 October 1971)

Trump obviously inherited quite a mess when he came into office.
