OIG Report - Recommendations
OIG Report ^ | 6/14/18 | oig

Posted on 06/14/2018 11:27:59 AM PDT by DouglasKC

II. Recommendations For these reasons, and as more fully described in previous chapters, we recommend the following:

1. The Department and the FBI consider developing practice guidance that would assist investigators and prosecutors in identifying the general risks with and alternatives to permitting a witness to attend a voluntary interview of another witness, in particular when the witness is serving as counsel for the other witness.

2. The Department consider making explicit that, except in situations where the law requires or permits disclosure, an investigating agency cannot publicly announce its recommended charging decision prior to consulting with the Attorney General, Deputy Attorney General, U.S. Attorney, or his or her designee, and cannot proceed without the approval of one of these officials.

3. The Department and the FBI consider adopting a policy addressing the appropriateness of Department employees discussing the conduct of uncharged individuals in public statements.

4. The Department consider providing guidance to agents and prosecutors concerning the taking of overt investigative steps, indictments, public announcements, or other actions that could impact an election.

5. The Office of the Deputy Attorney General consider taking steps to improve the retention and monitoring of text messages Departmentwide.

6. The FBI add a warning banner to all of the FBI’s mobile phones and mobile devices in order to further notify users that they have no reasonable expectation of privacy.

7. The FBI consider (a) assessing whether it has provided adequate training to employees about the proper use of text messages and instant messages, including any related discovery obligations, and (b) providing additional guidance about the allowable uses of FBI devices for any non-governmental purpose, including guidance about the use of FBI devices for political conversations

8. The FBI consider whether (a) it is appropriately educating employees about both its media contact policy and the Department’s ethics rules pertaining to the acceptance of gifts, and (b) its disciplinary provisions and penalties are sufficient to deter such improper conduct.

9. Department ethics officials consider implementing a review of campaign donations when Department employees or their spouses run for public office.

As I’ve said all along an Obama appointed IG whitewash. What’s the next chapter for those ridiculous Sessions shills? The gloves are off, Mad Dog Sessions is about to unleash some fixes. The coup continues while the traitor Sessions provides cover.

The big news of the day? Trump Foundation Sued! FBI needs a few fixes.

This IG investigation was NEVER about Russia. Please stop the foot stomping.

This simply says Trump was correct in firing Comey.

Congress needs to call for another Special Prosecutor. Sessions is seen as a biased AG. He can’t prosecute squat.

2. Don’t do your boss’s job without the legal or constitutional authority to do so.

Really? We have to develop new guidelines because Comey played God?

The IG has to immediately report any criminal acts that it uncovers during its investigation. That’s what some assume Huber’s role has been. The IG itself does not prosecute from what I’ve read.

Separately each of those recommendations are rather tepid but if you put all of them together a reasonable person would conclude it’s time to flush the FBI and DoJ altogether.

I’ve given you the benefit of the doubt on Sessions so far.

What say you now?

"This IG investigation was NEVER about Russia. Please stop the foot stomping."

I really could care less about the IG report. It's just more of the same.

The reality is the problem is much worse than just a few bad apple democrats. What occurred was the federal government attempted to take over absolute control of this nation against the will of the people and had they succeeded we would not have found out about it until it was clear we were living under totalitarian rule. The worse part is how do we fix this? Most of the bureaucrats that assisted and continue to assist the subversion of the people will not be leaving after president trump. The swamp is only getting deeper and more rotten. We can't prosecute them, they are the prosecutors. We can't investigate them, they are the investigators. We can't pass legislation, they are the legislators. We can't shut the border, they are the border guards. We can't take them to court, they are the judges. We were successful only in electing our president as it appears the swamp machine could not quite control 50 separate elections.

Meanwhile, they’re slipping the biggest amnesty in history to a vote next week.

This nothingburger is the distraction against real national harm—as well as the chances of the GOP keeping the House in November and Trump keeping his office in 2019.

Looks like you already got a shot of the massively craptastic amnesty and other bad immigration stuff bill that the House has put together with the White House’s blessing.

This is the real tragedy, folks:

And while we’re at it, we can stop the fake cheerleading for our employment numbers—which makes the immigration surrender all the more egregious:

I’m just watching and waiting on this one before commenting.

I don’t want to jump the gun, but I will say that anyone foolish enough to sign on to this betrayal of America is gonna pay.

Don’t do it.

This is all so totally bogus. If they were actually reforming anything, they would start with recording interrogations. Instead they keep up with the “notes” that can be totally manipulated—as Gen. Flynn knows all too well.
