FBI Employee to FBI Attorney : ‘YOU PROMISED’ Trump Would Never Get Elected
cnsnews.com ^ | 6/14/18 | Terence P. Jeffrey

Posted on 06/15/2018 1:54:53 AM PDT by a little elbow grease

The day after Donald Trump was elected president, an FBI employee engaged in an “instant message” conversation with an FBI attorney who had worked on the Clinton email investigation, then moved to the Russian meddling investigation, and would later become an attorney working with Special Counsel Robert Mueller on that investigation.

Speaking of Trump’s election, the FBI employee told the FBI lawyer: “You promised me this wouldn’t happen. YOU PROMISED.”

Later, in the same instant messaging exchange, according to the inspector general's report released today, the FBI attorney responded: “I am just devastated. I can’t wait until I can leave and just shut off the world for the next four days.”

This same FBI attorney then lamented that the newly elected Trump would likely dismantle the “progress” the outgoing President Obama had achieved.

“I just can’t imagine the systematic disassembly of the progress we have made over the last 8 years,” he said. “The ACA is gone. Who knows if the rhetoric about deporting people, walls, and crap is true.”

“We have to fight this again,” he went on to say.

“Also,” he said, “Pence is stupid.”

The other FBI employee with whom this FBI attorney was instant messaging expressed his view that Trump voters were "all poor to middle class, uneducated, lazy POS."

FBI Director James Comey told us in July 2016 that Hillary Clinton violated all sorts of laws regarding her Email Server. But Comey said the FBI could find no evidence that Hillary Clinton INTENDED to violate the laws.

DOJ Inspector General Horowitz tells us on June 14, 2018 that the FBI staff engaged in all sorts of Political Bias. But Horowitz then tells us that he could find no evidence that the FBI let their Political Bias influence their actions.

Is there any real difference between what Comey told us and what Horowitz is telling us now? I don’t think so.

You make the point well.

I made the same comparison last night.

The IG’s position here seems to be the same one taken by Comey in his “investigation” of Hillary; which is that no one who wants to keep his job, and perhaps his life, would announce publicly that the whole damn lot ought to be rounded up and jailed.

Yup.

FBI Attorney 2: “Plus, my god damned name is all over the legal documents investigating his staff.”

This is what I call “consciousness of guilt”. These bozos knew they weren’t legally spying on Trump and his campaign. The original warrant on Page led to ‘Unmasking” of lots of Trump associates who might have been mentioned or contacted and the subsequent monitoring of them. And the unmasking trail leads right back to the WH.

“”I made the same comparison last night.””

And Trump made the same point at 1:53 in his comments this morning with FOX.

I guess great minds all think alike. (sarc)

"I'm having some serious doubts."

Well don't take it to hard. I was hoping you were right. Let's see what happens next. Sessions can redeem himself IF he appoints a second SC to investigate corruption at DOJ/FBI/CIA. those agencies can not be allowed to investigate themselves.

Bull.

Hoover collected data on every major player in DC so he could manipulate people. He was a swamp creature that no one could touch.

After he died representatives from both the major political parties went into his private residence and removed box after box of records, presumably incriminating data.

Trump needs to clean out the FBI.

Don't clean it, burn it all down.

FBI attorney instant messaging that Trump voters were "all poor to middle class, uneducated, lazy POS"...

It's time to break up the FBI or just totally disband them... a politicized national police is a danger to the safety of the United States.

Because that’s the government’s solution to all problem employees - punish everyone regardless of whether they are guilty or not! Automatically assume everyone is a racist, misogynist, anti-GLBT, etc. force everyone through the training every year.

Have an employee 25 years ago behave like a racist. Solution: force everyone from now until doomsday to take an anti-racism class. Same with deal with sexual harassment. Of course evolve the training to the point where thought is regulated.

Of course the true goal of all this training is to never actually eliminate the problem. (In almost all cases the problems are self eliminating by the changes in society!) Keep the problem fresh, keep old wounds open, scratch new ones and above keep those anti-”whatever” training contracts coming!

Political bias is already covered by the Hatch Act. The problem there is, its not really ever enforced. GOP administrations pay lip service to it or enforce it sporadically & weakly. Rat administrations never enforce it, don’t even do lip service!

This is a clear case of sedition.
I do not know why they are not being arrested. Donald Trump needs to go on tv .... not tweet and explain why then start the arrests soon after.

This has been my thought from the moment the IG report hit the news cycle.

Then it’s impossible that the FBI earned its stellar reputation under Hoover’s direction.

Right?
