Jeff Sessions: ‘Real Proud’ of FBI Director Wray’s Testimony on DOJ IG Report

Attorney General Jeff Sessions praised FBI Director Christopher Wray’s testimony on the Justice Department Inspector General report while discussing immigration and law enforcement in Scranton, Pennsylvania Friday.

“I was real proud of Chris Wray, the new director of the FBI, yesterday for his statements on the IG report,” Sessions told Lackawanna College. “We’re not going to be defensive. We’re going to confront any problems, and we’re going to deal with them one-by-one, in a proper, fair, and appropriate way.”

“We’re going to reaffirm and recommit ourselves to the first ideals of that great agency — the FBI — One of the greatest investigative agency, maybe the greatest in the history of the world, as far as I’m concerned,” he added. “If we make a mistake, we’re going to confront it.”

Wray defended the FBI Thursday in response to a scathing inspector general report that heavily criticized the actions of his predecessor in the Hillary Clinton email investigation.

Wray said the report only addresses a specific set of facts and the actions of a handful of officials. He says “nothing” in the report “impugns” the integrity of the FBI workforce as a whole.

OK, lets think this through....

The .fedgov (Horowitz) investigates the .fedgov (FBI/DOJ).

What do you think will happen here? What is the expected outcome?

To me, its simple.

I am looking forward to Jim Jordan, during the hearings next week, home in on the “no bias” contention.

Those really in charge know that Jeff has left a wake-up call for January 21st, 2021.

Choose exactly one, perhaps. (1) What you said; (2) A GOP president who is (re) elected in 2020.

The left is in a plasma state. There’s already too many advantages for them. If the swamp is not evenly drained, the high parts spill back into the low ones. Yet you will not get the majority of the American people behind a kill-them-all. You must play the cards you are dealt.

Think of when Donald Trump calmly told Kim that he was being watched, and that’s why he wanted the missile facility out of a certain place in NK. This is how Trump has to act to survive in realpolitik. Even God knows that. The idea that the FBI is all scalawags won’t sell immediately to most average citizens. It snuck up on them. It will take time to dawn on them.

Sessions is a cuckold in every sense.

After another man bangs his wife doggy style in the maritak bed Sessions offers him a beer

A lame duck elected Donald would have more power than he does now. I think he really does intend to stick around for that 2020 election.

I believe after enough of this, a tweet will be forthcoming. Donald has to play the hand of cards that is the whole people of the USA, in the condition that they are in now.

Enough shame and the whitewash will start to be, er, washed away. Even whitewashing indicates they know there is trouble.

“Choose exactly one, perhaps. (1) What you said; (2) A GOP president who is (re) elected in 2020.”

The choice is not binary. President Trump can fire Sessions today and the only AG related question in 2020 will be “Sessions who?”

That idiot has done incalculable damage with his incompetence. He needs to be removed.

Now.

The really sad part is Sessions was probably the most reliable conservative Senator during 2008-2016.

Sometimes in a war, you have to bypass enemy strong points in order to achieve a larger objective.

much as i don’t like it, I think Trump has made the decision to leave useless Sessions, Wray and RR in place for now.

With the midterm elections, international issues, N Korea, Putin summit, NAFTA, China trade, europe trade, Mueller... a President has to deal with all that stuff, all at once.

I think Trump has concluded that opening yet another huge conflict by firing the “three stooges” is just going to have to wait.

Read his lips - One - by bloody f'in - one.

In 2 years 5 months 22 days, 23 hours and 15 minutes we will have dispensed with recommendation #99 and are ready to get hard to work on #98.

And fair to whom? To the taxpayers? To those who have had their lives, fortunes and families destroyed by YOUR out of control organization.

One, by one.

I have another counting scheme - one if by land, two if by sea.

I think a lot of you folks are like me in another context — engineering — in which situation sometimes I got uselessly fired because what was obvious to me wasn’t obvious to everybody else and I was impatient. People really, truly, want to BELIEVE in what they’ve got, and the fact that what they’ve got is an idol dawns excruciatingly slow on them. It’s the shame factor.

We’ve got the left overplaying its hand. That is the best long term situation for us. Let it play its own losing cards. At the right time, Donald can be all conciliatory.
