Jeff Sessions: ‘Real Proud’ of FBI Director Wray’s Testimony on DOJ IG Report

Attorney General Jeff Sessions praised FBI Director Christopher Wray’s testimony on the Justice Department Inspector General report while discussing immigration and law enforcement in Scranton, Pennsylvania Friday.

“I was real proud of Chris Wray, the new director of the FBI, yesterday for his statements on the IG report,” Sessions told Lackawanna College. “We’re not going to be defensive. We’re going to confront any problems, and we’re going to deal with them one-by-one, in a proper, fair, and appropriate way.”

“We’re going to reaffirm and recommit ourselves to the first ideals of that great agency — the FBI — One of the greatest investigative agency, maybe the greatest in the history of the world, as far as I’m concerned,” he added. “If we make a mistake, we’re going to confront it.”

Wray defended the FBI Thursday in response to a scathing inspector general report that heavily criticized the actions of his predecessor in the Hillary Clinton email investigation.

Wray said the report only addresses a specific set of facts and the actions of a handful of officials. He says “nothing” in the report “impugns” the integrity of the FBI workforce as a whole.

With the cards that were possible to play, he’s now forced into having to wash his hat. Now Donald may be able to masterfully guide this situation.

Wray, in my opinion, looked like and acts like a spineless, gutless, Establishment eunuch; just saying.

God help us if Wray is the best this country has for that job or any other DC job. He doesn’t look worthy enough of shining President Trump or General Mattis’ shoes.

President Trump endorsed Wray today as well. What do you make of that?

Maybe Donald has done the best he can with the hand he had to play. But the hand can still develop. If Sessions got the FBI to fess up that is still head and shoulders above where we had been.

Of course yes we know! Career Feds tend to be largely left, because the left is the ones who will be benevolently blind to them. Donald isn’t offering benevolent blindness, but he’s offering the chance to get clean before an ever brightening light. He knows that human nature won’t work without dignity at stake. This was the game he just played with Kim, a game whose ultimate results are yet to play out, but it seems the best thing that can be done short of a war that Donald could not get support for.

It’s a Kim Jong-Un persuasion move, and savvy observers may see it. It would be a shame if the dawning light found you onanizing all over the place, wouldn’t it, Wray? Say, Kim, we can see the heat from that missile, we really want it gone, Kim?

Perhaps it takes someone with the titanium chutzpah of Donald Trump to pull it off.

Sessions is corrupt, owned...no one is this stupid to not be able to see what is going on inside the DOJ/FBI. Incompetence can’t be his excuse.

STUPID? What do you mean “stupid”? Just wait till next year, Charlie Brown. You’ll see! Next year at this same time, I’ll find a pumpkin patch that is *real* sincere and I’ll sit in that pumpkin patch until the Great Pumpkin appears. He’ll rise out of that pumpkin patch and he’ll fly through the air with his bag of toys. The Great Pumpkin will appear and I’ll be waiting for him! I’ll be there! I’ll be sitting there in that pumpkin patch... and I’ll see the Great Pumpkin. Just wait and see, Charlie Brown. I’ll see that Great Pumpkin. I’ll SEE the Great Pumpkin! Just you wait, Charlie Brown. The Great Pumpkin will appear, and I’ll be waiting for him... I’ll be there! I’ll be sitting there in that pumpkin patch... and I’ll see the Great Pumpkin. Just wait and see...!

Donald Trump acts like he thinks he can be the pumpkin god.

Face it, the way the GOP has acted before hasn’t been to keep turning the light level up and up. It has gotten symbolic promises and then forgotten all about it, virtue having been signaled. Donald is a virtue doer, not just a virtue signaler, and our not being used to it is why we’ve been acting the way we have.

While it’s possible Sessions is doing legal miracles in the dark, the probability of that is getting slimmer and slimmer. And while discretion may be the better part of valor, and Senators are supposed to be deferential, blah blah blah, this has to end. Whatever he may be “secretly” working up, his successor can pick up and finish. He needs to go; he cannot do his job, and his crooked DAG needs to go right out the door with him. If I’m wrong, so be it. The next AG can do better. A department store mannequin could do better.
I know Trump’s between a rock and a hard place -— it’s possible firing these two could cost the election, but I doubt it. In fact, there are more than a few Trump supporters who are angry enough that he HASN’T fired them, to decrease their support for him. I’d love to know who is advising him to wait til after the election. That would be very telling. His biggest weakness, is that he doesn’t have a solid group of government pro’s, who know D.C., to advise him. He has been poorly advised by many, who were simply conning him. Lord, in the Name of Jesus, give him wisdom, knowledge, discernment, and honest, wise advisors, we pray. Amen.

Poor EEE.

To borrow another great storyline - EEE is Charlie Brown. Sessions is Lucy.

EEE always knows that - this time - he’s gonna kick that football.

Once again - he falls flat on his back.

Yes, we’ve got to survive the mid-terms. At the very least.

That doesn’t mean I’m happy. Not by a long shot.

But this is a very complicated game. The President knows the media will run with anything. They already make up a lot of lies.
