To resolve this problem, why don’t we just deport the whole family immediately. Better yet, don’t even allow them to cross the border!

Instead, you send them all back. The Obama Administration WANTED the confusion and wanted to use guilt to force every illegal and their brother and mother in so the Dems could illegally win elections.
The Constitution clearly mandates that the federal government protect each state against invasion (U.S. Const., Art. IV, Sec.4). Illegal immigration and immigration of our enemies is invasion. This law straight from the Constitution empowers the President in his constitutional mandate to “take care that the laws be faithfully executed” (Art. II, Sec.4) and needs no Congressional approval to execute enforcement.
