FBI Director Christopher Wray Has Made It Clear He Will Not Share Docs With Congress

Shortened title.

Full title: Judge Napolitano Says FBI Director Christopher Wray Has Made It Clear He Will Not Share Docs With Congress

Fox News senior judicial analyst Judge Andrew Napolitano said he was disturbed by FBI Director Christopher Wray’s refusal to cooperate with Congress in their mission to obtain certain documents.

“What I saw yesterday that startled me the most, it wasn’t the Democrats getting their narrative out of this, that this has nothing to do with Russia or the Republicans getting their narrative out of this. That the investigation of Hillary was so wide of a mark, we’ve never seen anything like it. It was obviously motivated by politics” Napolitano said on “Fox & Friends” Tuesday.

“I saw a message from Chris Wray, the director of the FBI to Devin Nunes, ‘we are not giving up documents that are protected by privilege.’ What’s protected by privilege? The Mueller documents that were shown to a grand jury that reflect the thoughts and impressions of investigators and prosecutors, or where witnesses were promised confidentiality,” he said.

Easy: President Trump calls Wray into his office, escorts him to a podium in front of assembled Press and says he’s holding him personally responsible for all documents requested by Congress to be turned over un-redacted and within 24 hours.....if they aren’t, Wray is fired and we find a new guy, rinse, repeat until Congress gets what they are entitled. Face the angry Left/Press and tell them that stonewalling in the name of Politics is unacceptable and anyone who disagrees can pound sand.

THE IG REPORT: THEY’RE GUILTY BUT IT’S OKAY!!!
Dear Fellow Americans,
You ignore or underestimate the long-term NEGATIVE impact of this “MATTER” on the very foundations of this nation and your lives and those of future generations at YOUR GREAT PERIL!
We either have THE RULE OF LAW for EVERYONE or we tolerate the LAWLESSNESS OF THE WOULD-BE RULERS!
We can’t have it BOTH WAYS!
And the end stage of the latter is ALWAYS TOTAL TYRANNY.
Which will it be, America? WHICH WILL IT BE??
And remember that the most dangerous phrase in ANY language is “Why THAT could never happen HERE?”
Are you willing to bet YOUR KIDS’ future that it won’t?
If you’re STILL sitting out this fight, that’s PRECISELY what you’re doing!

THE NUMBER AT THE CAPITOL IS 202-224-3121! IF “THEY” THINK YOU ARE OKAY WITH THAT, THE GUILTY WILL WALK!

Yup. Likely the next stop is the docs in question are probably reviewed by a judge to determine if privilege attaches. If it doesn’t, then they go to Congress. Stalling tactic most likely.

Can Trump order the release?

Wray can disobey the congressional committees because Ryan won't do a thing about it.

It will be up to the president to get the documents released.

If Trump won’t fire Wray for refusing to be held accountable to Congress then Congress needs to impeach Wray and remove him.

Trump is being excoriated and called a dictator for actually adhering to the law. This is where we are.

Which means we are likely to see a stern letter.

You are too optimistic. They will demand a closed door meeting to insist on answers. Then after a few cigars and cognacs they will ermerge and tell us that they made a "deal" to give DOJ / FIB more time. They will brag about how tough they were and how for the next deadline it will be really really REALLY serious if they miss it. But nothing written down for the record, of course.

Ryan is strongly behind the House getting the docs. The House will move against Rotten Rod and Wimpy Wray.

Congress needs to grow a pair, put the deep-state and FBI in its place, and above all, protect the rule of law

Start by cutting the FBI budget by 50%

I hope that's correct.

Nunes on Sunday seemed to be pretty sure that he had leadership's support. I just find it hard to believe that Ryan will come through and support either incarceration or impeachment against Rosenstein, if the documents aren't produced.

Can’t PDJT order the release (Wray works under him), and declassify any that are being used as an excuse?

Does no one understand that neither “privilege” nor “national security” guidelines can be used to conceal criminal/illegal behavior? And, although I never went to law school - thank God - I believe conspiracy to affect the outcome of an election and/or conspiracy to remove a duly-elected president would constitute criminal activity, would it not?
