The new Department of Major Democratic Party Field Organizations.
Teachers Unions and all other unions.
“Better yet, get back to the proper role of the federal government”
Reorganize them along the lines in the constitution - Treasury, Justice, Defense, and a catchall for the rest, like Interior.
Not a good idea. Both are bloated Government agencies and should be pared down or eliminated altogether.
Neither does President Trump.
I remember when HEW was broken up in the 1970’s and the Education dept was given $10 billion to start... It grew from there and today the kids are dumber then ever.
Oh, the HEW Manatee...
Wall Street Journal reports that this is part of a broader proposal to reorganize Government, expected to be released tomorrow (Thursday, 21 June).
Trump works in reality and takes the steps he can - this would be a great move and may actually be doable.
The current budget for Labor and Education is about $80 billion so they would have to do away with both entirely to realize your savings. Also there is very little overlap between what Education does and what Labor does, so about the only cost savings to be realized there is the cost of one cabinet secretary salary.

80 Billion Dollars!
taxpayers are enslaved how many days to pay these drones?
Every time I see a government number like this I think of it as tax payer enslavement.
so 80 billion divided by the federal tax on average hourly wage of 25 dollars which is about oh say 10% equals 32 million work hours per wage slave.
and that is only the half who pays taxes.
We need more tradesmen/craftsmen in this country to be "home grown" rather than cheap-labor express imported.
The table saw is turned off for the pic. You can see the teeth of the blade, which you cannot see with a spinning blade. The man is a fool not to have a push stick.
Reminds me of a hot model using a Craftsman router in an ad ...pushing it the wrong direction.

I think it's spelled "A B O L I S H" ...
