White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders on Saturday responded to being kicked out of a Virginia restaurant after a server's post about the incident went viral.
Sanders confirmed the incident in a tweet, and said that she always treats those she disagrees with “respectfully.”
“Last night I was told by the owner of Red Hen in Lexington, VA to leave because I work for [President Trump] and I politely left,” Sanders tweeted. “Her actions say far more about her than about me. I always do my best to treat people, including those I disagree with, respectfully and will continue to do so.”
Jaike Foley-Schultz, a waiter at the restaurant, posted on Facebook that he served Sanders and her family “for a total of 2 minutes” before the owner asked the press secretary’s party to leave.
Trump critics and supporters alike took to the restaurant’s Facebook and Yelp pages to leave one- or five-star reviews responding to the incident. “If you are a whining liberal feel free to eat here, if you are a TRUE AMERICAN stay away,” one Facebook user wrote.
On the opposite end of the spectrum, a five-star Yelp review read: “The best. I've heard that they serve crow to those deserving of it.”
Sanders is the third Trump administration official to be recently targeted at a restaurant, in addition to Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen and White House senior adviser Stephen Miller.
They should hire Jesse Jackson to spit in the food of people they disagree with.
“The Red Hen does not take online reservations for groups larger than 6 guests, but may be able to accommodate if you call them.”
Looks like someone needs an IRS audit and ICE raid.
If all these recent actions don’t call for a MAJOR upswing in R or at least PDT ‘supporters’ to the polls in November, NOTHING will.
Everyone wants to sit back and ‘biatch’ but far too many are to ‘lazy’ or unconcerned to get off their butts and vote.
Especially today when you are ‘allowed’ to vote absentee for most any bizarre reason.
I ‘like’ the method of dipping one finger in ink to signify whether one voted or not but am sure many would just dip their finger so as not to be ‘singled’ out.
Sort of like the 120% precinct turnout in some inner city polling places.

Either totally boycott the place - permanently (apology or not) - or, fill it with Red MAGA hats and conservatives...order a small salad...be a pain in the ass to the wait/management staff, and then leave without leaving a tip.
It’s extraordinary how intolerant and full of hate leftists are. That is made even worse by their delusional, self-righteous claims that they are fighting intolerance and hate while being some of the best exemplars of it.
Many are utterly closed-minded and totally convinced that they are the only holders of the truth. Because they are perfect but somehow can never win a debate based on facts, they choose to lash out emotionally and attack others personally.

as always, the loons on the left are vastly overplaying their hand. Calling half the voters in the country Nazis is not a winning strategy. Attempting to paint the Border Patrol as Nazis is just another aspect of the left’s war on cops, and most people will see that.
The Red Hen is the #1 rated restaurant on Tripadvisor.
I suspect the owner of the Red Hen is going to regret is stupidity.

I have never known a restaurant to properly record employee tips per IRS regulations.
