Young white Americans are fleeing the Democrat Party en masse following the election of President Donald Trump in 2016, a new poll reveals. The latest Reuters/Ipsos Poll surveyed more than 16,000 registered voters between the ages 18 to 34 over the course of the last three months of 2018. This same poll was conducted in 2016 around the same time period.
Young white Americans, in 2016, favored Democrats over Republicans in 2016 by a 47 to 33 percent margin. Since Trump’s election — and his booming economy which has secured high-paying jobs and record job opportunities — young white Americans’ favoritism for Democrats has disappeared.
Today, 39 percent of young white Americans say they favor Republicans, while another 39 percent of young white Americans say they favor Democrats.

Overall, the poll revealed that Democrats are losing young Americans in general. For example, before Trump’s election, 55 percent of young Americans said they favored Democrats over Republicans. Today, that margin is down to only 46 percent of young Americans who are still loyal to Democrats.
Key to Trump’s election was the issue of mass illegal and legal immigration, wherein the United States admits more than 1.5 million immigrants every year. As Breitbart News reported, a majority of white Americans say immigration to the U.S. has made life in America “worse.”

We must reduce LEGAL immigration substantially from the current 1.1 million annually. You could end all illegal immigration and not change the inevitable result of the Dems being the permanent majority party. The status quo on legal immigration is unacceptable.

I saw all sorts of discrimination growing up and early in my career: race, sex, gay, etc. Unequal pay, promotions, etc.
I talked to my 20-something kids a few months ago and they haven’t seen any of it personally. It’s hard for Dems to convince people these issues are real problems if people aren’t seeing them. Sure, the problems still exist in places. But when people don’t see it themselves it’s hard for Dems to make the case that these are the most important issues of the time and we have to vote against republicans to fix them. These problems are “fixed” in a large part of the country (corporate america, schools, etc).
It may not be 100% (or even 80% or 50%) of the kids who are affected by not seeing discrimination and thus ignoring Dem arguments. But a 5%-10% swing is huge in our political climate.
Trump has changed everything!

There will be a line drawn starting from Trump’s election, and politics will need to be framed Pre-Trump, when conservatives were badly out of power and being exterminated by Dems rotten immigration laws and policies, and Post-Trump when $hit got taken care of properly.
RINO’s are being driven out of power, and GOP is starting to focus on results.
Still a lot of mush-mouth wishy washy make peace with Dems minded folks on the right and in the indie crowd.
MAGA movement has long way to go.

And THIS ^^ is the reason that both parties want open borders! The Rs give lip service to national security but they are owned by the Chamber of Commerce and Wall Street, who love to exploit foreign workers who do the job for half the cost. The Ds, on the other hand, are looking for votes and need to import them by promising goodies to every new group that comes into the country, and constantly affirming victimhood status so as to keep people under their control.
The Swamp in DC has been bought and paid for by the lobbyists and the two parties only pretend to oppose each other, all while striking deals in the middle of the night to protect their own interests.
If enough people wake up and see what’s really behind the curtain, we may have a chance to turn it around...but I am really wondering if we have gone too far afield to get back on course!
When you look at these figures it makes it easy to see what the Democrat end game actually is with immigration and leftist propaganda encouraging young people not to reproduce. The question is why... Why do these people want to doom their children and grandchildren to a vast shift in the country’s demographic makeup? Is this just for political expediency or is there something “darker” taking place.
We have already seen the history that we were taught as youngsters vilified, revised and forgotten. The kids not only do not know who the founders were... they do not even know who Ronald Reagan was. In our area we are now spending over three times in inflation adjusted dollars on education since I was a kid. Teachers have unbelievable new multimedia and electronic teaching aids, yet our children and grandchildren are woefully under-educated when it comes to our history and heritage. And they are also easily misled by crackpot ideas that are bad for the country.
But this poll is some good news that indicates that common sense still prevails in many instances despite all the nonsense children are being exposed to. The Democrats are testing the limits of how far “white guilt” can be pushed.
