We will NEVER ride BART again at night. We escaped one night from druggies who were threatening everyone on the cars. Prayed for an angel to shield us and get us through the tunnel unharmed.
Now, they’d get a little pepper-mace spray facial!
The last time I took BART (years ago, to see a Giants game with several friends) was quite an experience. A small group of “youths” were making their way down our car, harrassing our fellow riders at random. When they started with us my ex-BIL (off-duty cop) displayed his pistol and badge, said something menacing, and they moved on.
