Describing what other people said makes someone “pretty damn stupid?”
I bet you were glad that the white girl called up on stage to rap along with a black rapper was ostracized and berated for singing the damn words (including the N-word) of the black rappers song!
In my opinion, repeating what OTHERS have said does not make you racist nor damn stupid. To believe that it does means every white person who ever acted in ROOTS or The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn or Uncle Tom’s Cabin or Gone With The Wind were “pretty damn stupid!” Now THAT idea seems pretty damn stupid, to me!
In a different world you are correct. In today’s America and as a CEO in this climate, he is pretty stupid.
Eh, might have had some chicken wings in there too. Wasn’t ordering anything special tho. They got really expensive for what it is.
He should have said, “I was just quoting some rap lyrics.”
According to this article, he claimed that this took place as part of a role-playing exercise, intended to counteract racism in his company. You have to do a lot of digging to find out about this, and we still do not have the statement in enough context that we might fully understand.
