Peter Strzok admitted to Congress on Thursday that he “detested” Donald Trump and was rooting for Hillary Clinton to win the 2016 election.
“You were both rooting for Hillary Clinton to win and you both detested Donald Trump, were you not?” Republican Ohio Rep. Steve Chabot asked Strzok during a joint congressional hearing.
“I think that’s fair to say,” said Strzok.
While acknowledging his animus to Trump, Strzok insisted in Thursday’s hearing that bias did not affect his work on the Trump-Russia investigation. Strzok led the investigation into possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russian government as deputy chief of counterintelligence at the FBI.

An individual, ANY individual, is the least qualified person to detect, or compensate for any bias that he/she has. If he/she is biased, he believes his opinion is true and self-evident, not a result of bias. So, therefore, his actions are perfectly justified by that self-evident truth, and not due to any bias.
Only an outside observer(s) can detect one’s biases; you don’t recognize them yourself.
