Love the Reuters question to Trump: why did you not call him out. What were these jackasses expecting him to do, call his aide to come forward with the football and threaten to blast the Ruskies off the planet if they did not come clean (assuming there is something there which there is not)? Compare this to any conference of Ohola with Putin or the Foreign minister...no attempts to undermine, no attempts to evoke a fight, no attempt to cross examine. The media needs me removed from any contact at these events.

On a side note, Trump looked a bit tired. Too much contentious meetings over too short a time period for his good I feel. I hope I am wrong and if not, I hope he is able to recharge because these vermin of a media need be brought to heal before they get the US in a frenzy. Jackals snapping at his heals is what they look like to me.

Agree. Trump, like any human, DOES make mistakes. His history is that he learns from them and gets better. I’m sure there will be a lot of discussion on the flight back...Nothing will happen right away, but I’m betting there will be some change in focus and message over the next few weeks.

While I understand Trump’s criticisms of the intelligence and skepticism, it may have been easier to say he pressed Putin on it, there has been no verdict yet, but the U.S. responded and will respond again if there are any attacks. If he had done that, it would have alleviated an problems that he would have had from this.

That said, I understand his skepticism. If so, though, it would be good for him to put out a detailed statement detailing the full rationale behind his questioning from the Clinton investigation to the FBI to explain it. The media would be outraged of course, but a detailed rationale is necessary.

Trump believes the collusion accusation is connected to the meddling accusation, and you can really blame the media and left for politicizing this.
