Jazz earlier described Democratic Socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez as a gift to the GOP, but perhaps more accurately, she’s a gift that keeps on giving. So too for that matter is her appearance with Margaret Hoover on PBS’ Firing Line this weekend. Not only did she fumble an answer on the “Palestinian occupation,” Ocasio-Cortez managed to err completely on a basic economic question — despite her supposed expertise in the subject:

Well, if everyone had two jobs, that would halve the unemployment rate. No? Twice as many jobs means you have to divide the unemployment rate by two. That’s just basic logic.

I worked three Jobs when I was in my late Teens to mid Twenties. You did what you had to do to make a Buck.

I bought my first Home when I was 21 and I had a Mortgage to pay, so off to Work for me.
Let me give you a simple economic thought, moron. Let’s say you have a country with a population of 200 people, half of them are working age (16 and above) - so there would be 100 in the working class. Now a liberal got elected and screwed up the economy so only 75 people are working - that will be an unemployment rate of 25%. Of those 75 people who are working25 have two or more jobs — it is still an unemployment rate of 25%. Now next election a murderous lady with fainting spells and looks like death warmed over ran against a businessman with a beautiful wife and wonderful kids, and the businessman won, then he promised to cut taxes to move the economy, so instead of 75 people working, 97 people were working now, so the unemployment rate is now 3%. Of those 97 workers, 20 people works 2 or more jobs - listen closely Ms Cortez - YOU WILL STILL HAVE AN UNEMPLOYMENT RATE OF 3%!! The rate doesn’t fall below zero , moron...
Isn’t employment rate based on the percentage with official jobs, so whether they have one or three, it doesn’t matter to the employment/unemployment rate?
Working two jobs means the unemployment rate goes down? You majored in economics?? Socialism economics?
That’s because real Americans are doing the work that liberals won’t do. I work two jobs. It wears me out, but the extra money is very satisfying.
