Federal prosecutors say eight accused MS-13 members have been indicted in Texas on charges tied to alleged gang activities including racketeering conspiracy, attempted murder and assault.
U.S. Attorney Erin Nealy Cox, who announced the charges at a news conference Friday in Dallas, said "the gang is one of the most violent and ruthless gangs on the streets today."
"These eight defendants and others allegedly embarked on a spree of violence for MS-13 across the Dallas area over just a few months, including a machete and shotgun attack on four victims at a public park in Irving," said Acting Assistant Attorney General John P. Cronan.
A news release said some of the defendants are tied to attacks in Dallas and Irving last year using a variety of weapons, including machetes, knives, bats and shotguns, in at least six attacks targeting drug dealers and members of the 18th Street Gang.
Charged in the 18-count indictment, unsealed Friday, are the following seven alleged MS-13 members and associates currently in custody.

Oh well, I’ll repeat my earlier statements that since MS13 like tattoos so much part of their punishment should involve a prominent tattoo of a penis on their face before, if at all possible, their deportation to whatever hell hole they crawled out of.

Americans - including our politicians - just don’t understand how and from whence MS-13 originated. If they did, I think they’d have a better understanding of what we’re really dealing with.
The original Mara Salvatrucha (no “13”) was a group of Salvadoran insurgents whose members, like the leaders and many members of the FMLN (Frente de Farabundo Marti para la Liberacion Nacional), were trained in Cuba and/or Russia. Many fought with the Cubans and their Russian “advisors” in Angola and brought their “skills” back to El Salvador.
Like their fellow travelers in the Sendero Luminoso (Peru), they had no regard whatsoever for the Salvadoran people and often conducted raids on Salvadoran villages and peppered their evac routes with booby traps to discourage pursuit. Unfortunately, the victims of those booby traps were usually Salvadoran citizens, particularly women and children. It was quite common to encounter women and children with missing limbs and disfigurement from their homemade booby traps. I can’t even begin to estimate how many Salvadorans were killed by the “Maras”.
We could usually identify the Maras by one distinctive tattoo, which pictured an image of Christ impaled on an inverted bayonet. Thankfully, most were identified “post expiration”.
These poor misunderstood “children” are merely suffering emotional trauma from being ripped from their poor, suffering parents by President Trump. They all should be provided immediate US citizenship, college free-ride scholarships and given pensions for life.
