Lisa Page and Peter Strzok, the reported FBI lovebirds, are the poster children for the next Dont Text and Investigate public service ads airing soon at an FBI office near you.
Their extraordinary texting affair on their government phones has given the FBI a black eye, laying bare a raw political bias brought into the workplace that agents are supposed to check at the door when they strap on their guns and badges.
It is no longer in dispute that they held animus for Donald Trump, who was a subject of their Russia probe, or that they openly discussed using the powers of their office to stop Trump from becoming president. The only question is whether any official acts they took in the Russia collusion probe were driven by those sentiments.

Has any previous President ever forced Russia or The Soviet Union to confess to any atrocities or crimes, before trying to do business with them? FDR? Atom Bomb Harry(D)? Eisenhower?Kennedy? LBJ? Nixon? Carter? Reagan? Maybe GHWB out of a drunk Yeltsein? Clinton? GWB? Obama confessed everything we ever did and more... Why does anyone expect Trump to beat a confession out of Putin now? Ever? A once, very popular person once said, “AT THIS POINT, WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE?”
Wonder why the affair ended. Did Peter dump Lisa? Does Lisa have a motive for revenge?
All well and good but what will come of it? How long will it take the IG to unravel this mess? Probably when trump is in the last month of his second term.
Sorry, wrong thread...
Strzok never denied it during his testimony when Lisa was referred to as his lover.
A good read. So, the lovebirds not only despised Trump, but took on the task of destroying him for that reason, plus the bonus of the greasing the skids for the best strategy of furthering their own careers, if the mission could be accomplished.
“they openly discussed using the powers of their office to stop Trump from becoming president. The only question is whether any official acts they took in the Russia collusion probe were driven by those sentiments.”
I call BS. Strzok and Page have answered the question. They declared their intentions in writing and took every possible action in their power to carry them out. The ONLY possible conclusion is that “stopping Trump” drove every act, omission, and decision. Stepping over the arsenal of smoking guns is gross negligence; it’s time to start punishing the guilty.
AG Sessions: DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT NOW.
We the People are getting more and more angry....it’s simply a matter of time before some good Patriot “ahem”....”confronts” these Swamp Aholes that consider themselves 10ft tall and bulletproof (just an expression of course)....
So, for months they knew this whole investigation was baseless and without merit, yet the presses ahead with hopes for impeachment. That Strzok made the no there, there comment on an official medium should be taken as an official statement, private or not.
*they pressed ahead...
the difference is that HRC treated our National Security with complete recklessness, yielding a treasure trove of classified documents to China and others. And the most simplest explanation was that she was so selfish, she could not be bothered with proper security protocol.
I agree! We have reached the tipping point. It is time to right the wrong. Lady Justice, You are up. Do your best!!
I like it.
No there...
then everything they did after May 19th 2017 is basically professional malpractice on the part of these two law enforcement professionals
To the extent their agency was aware of this makes the FBI institutionally responsible as well
Both of their spouses are still around. And this Stroke dude comes across to me as a homosexual.
During his testimony he corrected that to, there is no hair there but refused to expand on what he claimed was a late night typo. /s
Nice Try.... anyone who types can immediately dispose of this by mimicking the keystrokes. Also just tried it as a text message and at the auto spell doesn’t even come close to hair when starting to type there.....
Just shows how quick some of the congress questioners are who should have called him out on this right then and there.
“But put yourself for a second in the hot seat of an investigation by the same FBI cast of characters: You are under investigation for a crime the agents dont think occurred, but the investigation still advances because the desired outcome is to get you fired from your job.”
I agree. It’s not just your job it’s your ability to get a job in the future and even your liberty.
We have an out of control justice system.
1. There are far too many laws in general thanks largely to administrative law. Ask Paul Manafort and his 2005 tax case.
2. This allows prosecutors to find something on virtually anyone and pile up charges so that most will accept a plea deal when confronted with the potential of many years in prison. Ask Gen Flynn and his talk with FBI agents.
3. The Feds win well over 95% of cases that go to trial and the States are not far behind. That doesn’t make sense.
4. As a result, the US has the highest per capita incarceration rate by far in the world.
Jurors have to stand up to this nonsense and acquit when they believe that a law, rule or punishment is unjust or when due process appears to be faulty. Damn the judges direction; the jury is sovereign.
We also have to make FBI agents, prosecutors, and other Feds think twice about exactly what they are doing. If they break the law or fail to follow due process, they need to lose their jobs or go to prison.
A guy like Weismann on Team Mueller should not have a law license.
A cartoonish evil character.
A window to his dark soul.
I believe you’re on to something. How insane are we to believe that the same criminals who set this up will be the ones to bring the perpetrators to Justice?
I’m not the man with a plan, but eventually people will have to get involved, directly, or this nation is dead.
