Hmmm. Report published by "The Sun"? That's funny. Notice in the link that "EVER" is in all caps so it must be more serious than we were led to beleive. Once again "recorded" being the key word here. Anything prior that wasn't "recorded" doesn't count. Anyone think there were times in the pre-recorded past that things may have been warmer?

It’s a dry heat. I’ve sat in sauna’s that were hotter. Big Deal.

Brits have been hysterical about “climate change” because they’ve had a little heatwave.

i like the use of the word rocketed... as if it was 30 degrees the night before and then.... zoom. 127 degree F...

like it doesn’t go up one degree at a time.

Here in central KY we’re having a VERY mild summer. It should be hot and humid, but it’s not. And it’s been going on for weeks now. I notice because I do a lot of mowing, cutting, digging on my 32 acres in summer and it’s been remarkably pleasant. Very noticeably so. It’s almost like my summer days in Seattle.

The “EVER” part is hype. There were no thermometers at the beginning, so they don’t know what they are talking about.

And here in the mid-Atlantic, it has been rainy after about two years of summery “drought.”

Deserts are HOT - who’d have thought that?

It’s called DEATH VALLEY for a reason!

In Britain, a heat wave can be two weeks of 70F weather.

July 25 through 27 = three days not four. If the writer can't get that right, nothing else in the article is credible.

The Indians called it Death Valley. Because it was always hot. Nothing (almost nothing) lives there.

Why do you think I moved?

Interestingly, my daughter and her husband just moved out here a month ago, which shocked the heck out of us. And now, a long lost friend from wayback contacted us to get information about moving out here.

I’m telling you there is an exodus from seattle by long term residents. They are really getting sick of the whole mess, politically and culturally - and especially regarding the traffic.
