Some are. Others, not. Not all of any Apple product is made entirely in China although some are entirely assembled there by a Taiwanese company. A large percentage of the parts of the iPhone and iPad, for example, such as the glass for the screens which is made by Corning in NY, the WIFI and Celular radios are made either by Intel in Texas, or by Qualcomm in Taiwan (Apple is supposedly going to standardize on the Intel chips this year), the Apple designed processors are being made primarily by a Taiwanese company. The LCD screens come from one of two sources, while currently all the Apple designed OLED screens come from South Korea.
Some iPhones are assembled in Brazil, and starting this year they are also made in India.
Apple assembles many iMacs in Elk Grove, California, and also in Cork County, in Ireland, and completely manufactures the Mac Pro in the USA (to label it as such requires 90% of the components be made in the USA) in Austin, Texas. Foxconn is building a $2 billion plant in Wisconsin to manufacture more Apple products in the US (at least the reports are it will assemble Apple products, but what those products are has not been announced, but some rumors have hinted it will produce computer monitors).
Look up thread to see a list of just some of the CE companies that use the same contractor that Apple primarily uses to assemble their products. It is only ONE of the customers of Foxconn. . . which now produces about 60% of ALL consumer electronics made in the world for almost every brand name you can think of, for over 500 customers under contract. The question is not whether Apple does, it's to find one who does not. . . and Apple is the answer to that question for many of its product lines.
