It just gives you an idea of how fake the reported numbers always are.

Hope you’re right - but that fact that Trump flew in last night specifically to help this guy makes me think they might have some data that doesn’t look good......

“””””””””’Troy Balderson can make drying paint look exciting.”””””””””””””””””

True dat. He is a speech reader. Trump just talks to the people like they are all his friends. Troy will need all the help he can get.

This poll was taken before the Trump rally. The local media will cover Kasich dissing Trump today and Balderson will be helped as a result of the rally and Kasich’s pettiness and vindictiveness.

Doubtful. They have polls showing Beto-male being within a few points of Cruz even though Rs outnumbered Ds in primary votes 2 to 1

Troy Balderson is not Trump, he could lose this on his own because he is a Bush Leaguer.

Quoting Monmouth whose track record is abysmal is like asking a dog and judging by if he wags his tail or not

Garbage in

Garbage out

"Anything to this? Or same willful ignorance as displayed in ‘16? "

Likely the latter. The Ohio 12th covers the north and east suburbs of Columbus. The district covers wealthy, blue collar, and rural areas. The district should be solid GOP, but with the growth in Columbus, the demographics are probably shifting. Apathy is the Republicans worse enemy.

"They got everything wrong!"

Whenever I see a poll from some group that show Trump in a bad light, I like to compare them to their polls just before the 2016 election, and in just about every case, they were wrong. So why aren't they wrong now too?

If anything, the libs should be angry at the poll takers and the media for feeding them these lies throughout the campaign season. Instead of taking it out on the people who provided them with fake poll results, they've taken it out on Trump and his supporters. They're nuts.

It’s been said that Trump flew in to also help the GOP Senate candidate, and to get some air time in neighboring states such as Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Michigan.

This is Monmouth. Remember them? Registered voters (not likely) meaning in OH they vastly oversample “Unaffiliated/independent” voters who vote a whopping 40% less than Rs or Ds.

Also, pretty sure in 2016 this as the outfit that twice was caught asking for the “youngest voter in the home.”

Sort of adds to my point - he’d already done two, would he be that likely to do a third within a few days if there we’re some uncertainty about the outcome.....

No this isn’t a reliable poll. “Registered” voters is a bad measure in any case, but even worse in OH because of the state’s habit of putting anyone who didn’t vote in the last primary into the “unaffiliated/independent” bin.

These people don’t vote (40% vs 73-76% for Rs/Ds). Also, pretty sure Monmouth was the outfit I caught asking for the “youngest voter in the home” in the 2016 election.

Now, go to my twitter feed from last night & look at my thread on OH. “The Accountant” did a massive data breakdown of ACTUAL registered voters and HOW the UNAFFILIATEDS break down.

Bottom line, Rs hold about a 250,000-267,000 lead in real registrations, and Ds couldn’t win even if all the “Us” voted with them. They would need large numbers of Rs to cross the aisle.
