The last paragraph about the gamer guys and the cat ladies is very true. Our culture is dying because of this idea of sexual value vs expectations planted in heads by the culture itself.

But in the past, loser guys still found a loser girl and made loser babies. Now, the loser girl can be sexual promiscuous and, through easy sex, make themselves think that they deserve better than the loser guy when all they’ve really done is turn themselves into a sperm dumpster for those few years where they should be looking for a suitable mate.

The article seems to be based largely on the author’s reading of the fiction of a French novelist. All of the insights and examples he lists go back to these fictional characters and situations. Personally, I never heard of that writer, and the brief description of his point of view contained in the article does not give me any confidence in the validity of his pov.

It used to be that women didn't have much of a choice, but to marry the best guy who offered. Now, many choose to stay single and childless, rather than marry the kind of guy who would be willing to make them an offer.

And men aren’t only ones being taken to financial cleaners. I am NOT on FB, but another site, and was contacted 5 times last week by a scammer or scammers, and I blocked all. Women deal with same issues men do, only more deceptive, while playing on their female need for male companionship.

Well I suppose it depends on a definition of a “Loser”. My parents weren’t the great winners in life’s lottery but they found each other and had babies...depending on one’s definition we were lower middle class and even on Public assistance at times(the parents split up). Section 8 housing is evidence that losers do connect and find each other...(whether) they marry or not. Depends on how you define...”loser”.
Well, the bible has told us that there was a special place in the kingdom of heaven for the man who loved God so much that other romances paled.
In the absence of acknowledgment of God, the best such a person can do is love abstractions and philosophy.
