Feel Peter Strzok’s pain. The lad got fired from the FBI, where once he strode the earth like a colossus. He was reduced to making cute faces at the congressmen grilling him when he went in front of them to lie thru his teeth explain himself.
Now he leaves, apparently with no pension.
He used to be able to lean on Big Jim Comey, behind whose broad shoulders he could squirm, spew sotto voce expletives and email his girlfriend. But then Jimmy went and published that book about a higher loyalty, and Petey will look unoriginal if he uses that line.
It just ain’t fair. Little Peter Strzok made it big in an outfit dominated by lawyers, and him with just a puny masters. His was a fight for underdogs everywhere, the outsider, the guy who was different but by dint of hard work, determination, courage and honesty aw-shucked his way to the highest levels of unctuosity.

Yup, let’s do indeed dream. Sadly though, he will never do any jail time. However, he will be rehired by the FBI into some obscure position off the radar where he can accumulate seniority and regain his pension and will eventually retire with full benefits. Bet on it....
Lazy writer here, at a minimum he needs to check into that. Most reports have him getting a "reduced" pension which makes sense. What else didn't this writer investigate?

Not to someone who lost a career, and specially if they lost their pension. 300k wont keep you in your DC area home for very long, let lone secure your future.
With 300k you might be able to buy 20 or 30 acres in Iowa or South Dakota and crow some corn or wheat or get a few starter head of livestock then actually work... Oh wait, you’d have to figure out how to navigate the individual mandate on the remnants of obama care and pay escalating healthcare coverage costs out of your own pocket. NVM. Poor Peter is screwed.
