WAWAYANDA – The State Department of Environmental Conservation has denied the renewal of the air quality permit for the Competitive Power Ventures (CPV) fracked gas power plant in the Town of Wawayanda.

I’m wondering how in the world someone thought it was worthwhile to build not just one but three solar power installations near Rochester, of all places. Panels covered by snow 7 months out of the year ain’t going to generate squat.
In other words “You haven’t paid enough graft. Empty your pockets”.

His environmental policies are keeping it affordable.
It must be "affordable" since New Yorkers are paying their bills.

In a letter to CPV, DEC Regional Director Kelly Turturro wrote that the company was required to submit a complete application and obtain a federal Clean Air Act permit prior to operation of the facility. She wrote that CPV has not submitted an application for a permit nor has a permit been issues as required.
Cuomo’s longtime associate Joseph Percoco was convicted of Federal charges of bribery, etc. in conjunction with CPV permitting for construction of the power plant and it’s NG spur pipeline.
