Good. My clearance was rescinded too after just a few months of my retirement.
Albright’s book came out in July not long before this stuff on Brennan’s access was decided, too.

It was a crime before then. He has no need to know. Well I guess they could have claimed that he needed to know somehow...and with the media and courts against Trump he’d probably win.

My understand is that he wasn’t. Having a security clearance isn’t the same as actually having access to classified information.
It just means that if the need should arise, the paperwork for granting access would be minimal.
Ex officials from prior administration’s are sometimes called upon to advise or assist the current administration, so they often retain their security clearance so that they can be quickly brought in the loop. If they did not retain their clearance it could take weeks or months to clear them.
I doubt anyone in the Trump administration would ask Brennan for advice, so it’s good to revoke his clearance.
It’s also disgusting that ex officials like Brennan, who are hostile toward Trump, can profit from their security clearance by appearing as paid guests on the fake news and “drop” the fact of their security clearance to make themselves seem more important.

It’s called the November midterms. If the newly Trumpified GOP holds the House and the Senate, it’s lights out for the Deep State. If they get the House, but not enough of the Senate to convict, it’s two years of trench warfare leading up to 2020. If they get both the House and enough of the Senate (Dems plus NeverTrumpers) to convict, then it’s lights out for Trump. All of that could change if Mueller can come up with the proverbial smoking gun, but two years in, that seems mighty unlikely.
