CNN is jury tampering. If you are a Jurist and you find out CNN is going to publish your name and address are you going to put your family in jeopardy from the crazies for Manfort?

Jurors do get tired - especially when they're harangued or bored by a mulish juror.

I predict Guilty on One Count of Something Ridiculous.

No, sequestration is the exception rather than the rule I believe. Not required by law, used when the judge thinks the jury may be subject to tampering.

It’ll be a hung jury by the end of the day.

I still haven’t heard a good reason as to why a “tax and bank fraud” case is being prosecuted by Mueller’s team.

If Rudy was the AG, this would never have happened - no recusal, no Rosenstein, no Mueller...

Lol, too bad I am not on the jury. Acquit and you can go home. If not, stay here with me. Did I ever tell you about my uncle who loved beans? The musical fruit?

“...because one of the jurors has an event they would like to attend.”

Well, isn’t that just special.

This has happened before: there is one hold-out for acquittal because of reasonable doubt.
Those wanting to convict ask judge for definition of reasonable doubt.
The judge told them that reasonable doubt did not mean “all possible doubt” but was “doubt based on reason.”
Jurors who want a conviction will use this to bully the one hold-out, saying he/she is not using common sense.

I agree, this whole thing is a farce.

“CNN has two more days to convince the jurors or their families of the “correct” verdict.”

The John Gotti method, or possibly more brutal?

Not sure about that. The jury came in quick with OJ’s verdict.

I think with 18 counts they’re probably looking at conviction on some of the lesser accounts. If he were found innocent on all they’d come in quickly.

In summary, I read this as bad for Manifort. But then again what the heck do I know.

I will speculate there is more than 1 hold out. Giving Gate the plea deal on his admitted crimes would be enough to create reasonable doubt for me. Mueller nullified his on case with Gates.

It’ll be a hung jury by the end of the day.

It won't, because the judge is letting them go home, to reconvene on Monday.

Not so good. The individual jurors will receive harassment and threats from lefties over the weekend.

They have 18 separate counts to work through.

I wouldn’t expect the jury to be hung on all counts. It wouldn’t surprise me if they pulled some kind of compromise maneuver to get a couple of guilty verdicts in while either remaining deadlocked or handing down acquittals on the other charges. But I’m not a lawyer and reserve the right to be completely wrong.

FOX News and others claim that Manafort is due in a Wash DC court as soon as this trial is concluded. What is the second case about?

“Donald Trump is the real defendant here. Paul Manafort is only the pawn...”

Very true.
