I had food poisoning by eating my dinner (which had mushrooms) on a flight from Singapore to Manila. I felt dizzy when I got up from the seat to visit the restroom, I made it to the rest room, locked the door, and passed out! When I came to, I was sitting on the floor with my back against the door. I had no idea how much time had passed. I felt weak and dizzy rest of the flight. Upon landing in Manila airport, I barely made it to board my next flight to San Francisco. After the long flight to San Fran, I was almost recovered.
Here is what I think I did wrong...I had ordered a special low sodium meal on that flight to Manila. I was served separate from the other passengers who were getting the standard meal. Who knows how my plate of food was handled. May be it sat around without proper refrigeration somewhere. I will never order any special meals on flights, especially in Asia.

That should be the response, but my guess is that we taxpayers will foot the bill for their hospitalization and then give all of them asylum and a path to citizenship.

Maybe their timing was off and nobody was supposed to get sick until they were off the plane mingling with the general populace, and all the movers and shakers they rub elbows with.
Cause you know that someone on that plane is not coming to pick veggies.

Just read that the Mecca stop did not in fact happen—erroneous reporting from the mayor’s office.

Emirates Flight 203 landed in New York Wednesday shortly after 9 a.m. with 500 people on board. It was a direct flight from Dubai and did not make a stop in Mecca as the New York mayor’s office erroneously reported earlier.
