MOUNTAINSIDE-A Marine Corps veteran, and former infantry officer said embattle U.S. Senator Robert Menendez (D-NJ) was behind his removal from a New Jersey parade this weekend.
Bob Hugin, who served for 7 years as a Marine Corps officer said he was notified this weekend that he was not welcomed at the Dominican Parade of Hudson County because he is running for office against Menendez, who narrowly skirted political corruption charges and was even accused by federal prosecutors of having sex with teenaged prostitutes.
“A person would have to be really petty to feel threatened by his political opponent being in the same parade, but apparently Bob Menendez is,” said Hugin. “I would never stoop to that level and it’s unfortunate that someone who has been in Washington for 25 years — and Hudson County politics for more than 40 years — would be threatened by his opponent participating in a parade.”

I’m trying to figure out why Hugin would want to attend a Dominican Day Parade in Hudson County in the first place. That’s like President Trump getting upset because he wasn’t invited to speak at the annual meeting of the NAACP or the Southern Poverty Law Center.
Perhaps what DC really needs is a D&C..! Scrape the crud from the walls of that place... Clean it out..! :)

Hugin will be lucky to get 2% of the Dominican vote and 10% of the Hudson County vote. Attending that parade would have been a waste of time.
Show up anyway. Make sure news cameras are there. Let the cops haul him away.

but complaining about being banned is not waste of time. like I said its about exposure. also never write off a group. the biggest mistake made by republicans over the last 30 years was allowing the demacrat party to claim a vote by racial identification. a good politician fights for every vote where the person might not realize they are of agreement with them.
With regard to making a mistake about "writing off a group," let's just go back and remember what happened in 2016 -- when Hillary Clinton lost Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin ... while she was campaigning in TEXAS.

All of these stupid ethnic parades... who cares? If the Dominicans are so damn proud, GO THERE. Ditto for the Puerto Rican Parade, the Italian Parade, etc. I love, love, love Italian Americans, but why the parades?

And I think Menendez is already toast, that is why he is doing these things. He is upset that he is only ahead a couple points, and that can change quickly since people start thinking about the midterms in mid to late october
