The View co-host Joy Behar said Friday that Senate Republicans are trying to push through Brett Kavanaughs Supreme Court nomination in order to retain white power.
Behar lodged the accusation on Friday, one day after Kavanaugh and the first woman to accuse him publicly of sexual assault, Christine Blasey Ford, testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee.
Ford, in her testimony, accused Kavanaugh of pinning her to a bed and groping her at a party when the two were in high school in the early 1980s. Kavanaugh denied Ford's claims in his testimony.
Behar cited a study from the Brookings Institution that found white people currently make up 61 percent of the U.S. population, a figure that is expected to drop to 49.7 percent by 2044.
Pretty soon well be like South Africa, apartheid, where 10 percent of white people were running the country, Behar said. It seems like the trajectory that were on here.
Co-host Whoopi Goldberg pushed back on Behar's claim, saying that would not happen in the U.S.
We hope not, but this is what they want, Behar continued. The people who are only interested in retaining white power in this country.
Sunny Hostin, a co-host on "The View" and former sex crimes prosecutor, said she was disgusted by how the sexual assault claims against Kavanaugh have become a partisan issue.
Ive interviewed hundreds of victims of sexual assault and I know how hard it is for them to come forward, Hostin said. That woman 100 percent, 150 percent credible. She was telling the truth, in my view.
Hostin said she viewed credibility, candor, character and impartiality to be the most important qualities for a Supreme Court Justice. And Kavanaugh doesnt have those, she said.
The Senate Judiciary Committee voted to advance Kavanaughs nomination on Friday after Sen. Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.) requested a one-week delay in the floor vote.
Flake announced his support for Kavanaugh earlier on Friday but later asked for a delay after speaking with other lawmakers.
I think it would be proper to delay the floor vote for up to but not more than one week in order to let the FBI to do an investigation limited in time and scope, he said.
Senate GOP leaders agreed later Friday to a one-week delay of Brett Kavanaughs Supreme Court nomination to allow the FBI to investigate sexual assault allegations against him.
We've already learned many Republicans (nevertrumpers) aren't interested in the Trump agenda and will be happy when he's gone so they can move forward with the UniParty agenda.
And SA will go the way of Zim, total $hi+hole.
.
White power baby!
There is no joy when Joy is around.
Has she taken a look at her own skin lately?
In can only be mental disease that would cause someone to develop such a venomous hate for the majority of Americans based on skin color.
Her own skin color, in fact!
Aaahh, what does she know? There is *no* white power to retain. Category 5 ignorance in action!
Democrats used to assume black men were rapists and Democrat mobs would hang them. Now its the white men who must be rapists, unless of course they agree to condemn their own gender and race as morally inferior and shut up and sit down to be lectured by Leftist bigots and trained to appologize for their own skin color.
Who gives a sh** what Joy says? Leftist hag.
She really is a psycho. Needs to be committed to a mental institute.
The first thing she sees each day is a bitchy white woman in her mirror so no wonder she hates white people, eh?
The one thing Joyless never has to worry about is being gang raped; even if she volunteered.
Get run over by a speeding bus, Behar, you old crone.
I could use a good laugh.
No, let her talk, walk away is growing.
White power, as opposed to?
So Joy Behar is screaming “WHITEMAN’S LAW”!
And that mean, homely little girl —that nobody liked— was Joy Behar. And now you know the rest of the story.
Who cares what smelly hag Baghar has to say?
“...That woman 100 percent credible...” - ????
1. Four witnesses - all say didn’t happen
2. Faulty polygraph and date occurred mixed up.
3. Stated reason for counseling wrong - house remodel in 2008 not 2012.
4. Description of event has conflicting descriptions throughout.
5. much more!!!
Credible?? - I think not at all!!
What is the matter with this woman? Ethnicity in the U.S. is still more than 2/3rd "white alone."
