SODDY-DAISY, TENN. A Tennessee assistant principal was placed on administrative leave Wednesday after he recorded a video addressing a ban on athletic shorts, in which he suggested male students blame the girls for the ban.
If you really want someone to blame, blame the girls, because they pretty much ruin everything, Jared Hensley, who also serves as Soddy-Daisy High Schools athletic director, said in the video.
The Knoxville News Sentinel reported that the video, addressed to students and called A Helping of Hensley, was removed from YouTube shortly after Hensley posted it, but another YouTube user reposted a 60-second clip of Hensleys statements.

Title IX is now for the trannies.
Everybody else is SOL.
More BS. When a female principal calls out toxic masculinity and spouts abut-male views shes praised but call our toxic feminism and the socialists melt down.
We need to shut down twitter and Facebook - permanently.
“If you can’t be an Athlete, at least be an Athletic Supporter!”
Well, I am on the side of the men.
He was fired today.
Although his statement was not very clear or articulate, he was correct, for the most part.
Any teacher or School employee of today should have known not to make those statements while on the job. PC rules the roost for now.
If you really want someone to blame, blame the girls, because they pretty much ruin everything, Jared Hensley, anti-19th Amendment Activist.
As a mom raising two boys...yes.
I don’t understand the premise. What’s wrong with the comfortable baggy shorts everybody likes to wear?
Nothing’s wrong with those kind of gym shorts, but in a school you will likely find a few who take the pursuit of comfort too far. Some students will spend the whole day in sportswear that looks like pajamas. Others will purposely wear clothing so loose and baggy, that it will expose their underwear. This will lead to kids reacting to the look.
I am guessing such a scenario is what inspired the ban.
the ass principal is a total creep, and if he was dissing my dtrs like that, there would be more than a firing...I say that as a sister of 4 brothers, with one husband and one son...but I won’t let anyone diminish the value of my dtrs....
So true. War against men. Females can do no wrong. Males are always wrong.
All this toxic pro-female rhetoric against men gets no checks and is embraced, which is totally unfair to men. Society unravels further.
See my tagline.
I think he was trying to be funny. The reality is that its easier to enforce a no shorts policy than a shorts must at least reach the tips of your fingers when arms are at your side policy. Its not the boys wearing inappropriately short shorts to school.
Ive seen plenty of clean comedians use an Adam and Eve reference in a bit regarding the battle of the sexes. Its a common joke. The principal was using humor to wade through really touchy issues like modesty and public displays of affection. Had he been totally straight he could have come off as a pervert.
He didnt have the comedic chops to pull it off so now his family gets to go through a very hard time (if he has kids they will suffer more than any girl did from his video) because people can neither take a joke nor extend even a smidgen of grace or understanding.
It’s obvious that it was the girls wearing the inappropriate length of shorts, hence “blame the girls”. If parents find this demeaning maybe they should have their daughters dress more conservatively. A little class goes a long way.

Title IX was and is CIA: Communism In Action.
Everything is now Redistribution: rights, monies, employments, businesses, educations, citizenships.
Pro-female rhetoric is toxic and destroys entire cultures.
I say repeal the 19th, and I say that as a father to 3 daughters.
