Why Sarah Palin is probably serious about challenging Lisa Murkowski

Sarah Palin to Murkowski after Kavanaugh vote: 'I can see 2022 from my house' ...

Palin's tweet looks like a succinct suggestion that she'll challenge Murkowski when she's up for re-election in four years. It's not hard to imagine, either, because the senator and the ex-governor have history. Palin is the woman who, in 2006, defeated Murkowski's father in a Republican primary to become the first female governor of Alaska. Frank Murkowski had served just one term as governor after a long stint in the Senate, though he actually appointed his daughter to fill his seat when he won the governorship in 2002.

Maybe recent events changed Sarah’s mind about leaving Alaska. Ever think of that?

She was crapped all over by McReallyLame and the media a-holes. I think it would be fabulous to have her in the Senate.

Palin herself won’t leave Alaska, but now that her kids are grown, she can get back into elective politics, especially since McCain is dead and Trump is her Patron.

Remember, had she entered the 2012 race, McCain would have backstabbed her, we know that now. This despite her 2010 endorsement against JD Hayworth. She was never going to run in 2016 because Trump had the money and Palin knew she still had family issues. Now she only has Trig to look after.

Palin will get back in somehow, and it will be in Alaska.

Could you imagine that Trump campaign rally. It would blow the roof off.

——Palin will get back in somehow, and it will be in Alaska.-—

Presently, Sarah is not nationally acceptable.

Being unknowledgable (ignorant) of Alaskan politics, I am unable to evaluate her ability to be elected there. She must revitalize he charismatic image

Boy - that voice of hers yesterday on the Senate floor sounded too much like Blasy Ford. BP must give lessons on how to sound oh - so torn up. It was pitiful. I don’t recall her talking like that before. Of course, I could only stand about 10 minutes of it...

Palin replace her - our next best dream now...

I would welcome her running for the Senate. Track and Bristol’s problems are not hers. If the media wants to go after her for them it will only make her a more sympathetic figure to Alaskans who’ve had family members with similar problems.

There’s a crack/springboard in the door. The one house seat is held by an old goat. She could slip right in and plan for 2022. Neither will happen.

If Sarah runs, I’ll donate the max allowable to her campaign just to put Murkowski out.

Sarah Palin plans to leave Alaska

What better way to get out of Alaska than to move to Washington as the Senator. Get to go back and visit family and friends on the taxpayer's dime when you want, but not have to live there.

This will NEVER happen. Never.

Sarah and Todd are done with Alaska.

They like being warm. They like the money and attention they get down south.

She is more likely to run in Arizona than she is in AK.

That will make her a carpetbagger. Another Liz Cheney who thought the Senate seat should be handed to her. Aim lower first.
