I’m sure the Portland Police will charge him with three counts of improperly using the word “mob”. This comes with a mandatory 10 year prison sentence, as per a new law passed yesterday.
I was once in a mob that was trying to get at me in my car. I broke up an assault by driving at the mob of feral kids and scattering them like cockroaches. I then followed them in my car while on the phone with a police dispatcher.
One broke my windshield with a rock. Suddenly I saw 6-7 ferals running at me and trying to get in my car. Saw the cops on the way.
It was amazing how fast they hit the ground when they saw laser beams.
Inwouldn’t even feel sorry.
Disparity of force situation. No one wants to be Reginald Denny.
Problem is he didn’t have six other cars with him to clear the entire street.
I would not advise that. I would just go and do the best I could and decide if the case deserves Jury Nullification. I hate to say that but that is the only reasonable verdict today with our Criminal Justice System. As I have said before and I truly believe most verdicts are chosen by those running the system.
As a retired Police Officer I do not believe if a person is honest and sits on a jury they probably could convict in most cases anyway. Our system is not set up to find the truth and it chills me to the bone thinking folks have been executed wrongly. I never believe this to be the case until I had spent so much time policing and see a lot of the system from the inside.
