FULL TITLE:Maxine Waters Warns Banks, Insurance Companies, Wall Street: “I’m Going to Do to You, What You Did to Us”

Maxine Waters — the future chair of the Financial Services Committee if Democrats win the midterm elections — told supporters if Democrats succeed in taking back the House in the midterm elections — It’s going to be payback time.

Waters warned top US financial institutions, “I’m going to do to you what you did to us.

Via American Mirror:

“I will be the first African-American, the first woman to chair the powerful Financial Services Committee.

“That’s all of Wall Street. That’s all the insurance companies, that’s all the banks. And so, of course, the CEOs of the banks now are saying, ‘What can we do to stop Maxine Waters because if she gets in she’s going to give us a bad time?’” she said.

“I have not forgotten you foreclosed on our houses,” she warned.

“I have not forgotten that you undermined our communities,” she continued with the tone of a preacher.

“I have not forgotten that you sold us those exotic products, had us sign on the dotted line for junk,” she yelled, “and for mess that we could not afford.”

“I have people who are homeless who have never gotten back into a home. What am I going to do to you?

“What I am going to do to you is fair. I’m going to do to you what you did to us,” she vowed.

Any Democrat big money financiers on Wall Street need to prepare for the consequences of supporting communists.

Beat me to it...it was the Democrats that caused the issues of which Maxine now complains. But then...the real definition of “hypocrisy” is “Democrat.”

And when banks were ordered to pay compensation for giving loans to people that couldn’t afford it, guess who got the money? Not the people, but ACORN type organizations.

I think that she’s signalling that her pockets will be open and ready for a fresh lining.

Every time she opens her mouth, Omar Navarro gains votes. Probably not enough to overcome the power of incumbency, but maybe...

I’m no great financial mind, but it makes no sense to me to wage war with bankers when they are locked-in to every element of our society, from purchases of groceries and EBT payments, to houses, cars and tuitions.

You think they will know how to fight back? Of course they will.

Democrat Turnout Porn. There are a lot of people out there who’d like to see public floggings of bankers.

Well it does play to her base and the democrats base. But she just put all of those companies on notice that they need to support the republicans.

re: “What I am going to do to you is fair. I’m going to do to you what you did to us,” she vowed.”

I’m not overly fond of banks, insurance companies, or wall street, but, just how is she going to define “fair” and how is that not going to hurt everyone who has money in a bank, has insurance, or has some type of pension, IRA, 401k, etc.???

Oh, and, didn’t the whole “hurting communities and poor” come about by the Democrats demanding that banks and mortgage companies loan to people who didn’t have the usual amount of income and collateral? And, when it turned out these people couldn’t pay the monthly mortgage that somehow it was ALL the banks and mortgage companies fault?

I’m sure the banks took advantage of some people, and the bailout was a scam, but still, wasn’t it, as usual, the government that instigated all this chaos in the first place?
