ANALYSIS: Eleventh Hour Confusion, But Trump Leads The Way To The Ballot Box
Big League Politics ^ | 11/5/2018 | Larry Schweikart

Here we are at the 11th hour. We have seen a substantial amount of data from early and absentee voting, virtually all of it quite good for the Rs but none of it a “knockout” blow where we can absolutely “call” many races. Nationally, Rasmussen today had Donald Trump at 51% approval and the Republicans with a 1 point lead in the generic race.

(That’s nice, but never in my life have I voted for Mike or Suzy Generic).

One of the untold stories so far is how the fake news media ignores early and absentee voting, which has taken on a life of its own in many key states. In Florida, the state government and both parties have been pushing early voting for years. In Arizona, fully 80% of the voting public will have cast a ballot by election day! Yet the fake news media polls and polls, as if nothing has happened. Well, a great deal has happened.

Spot on but in MI the upstate counties may well hand James the win - they went big for Trump in 2016.

Vulmir in WI will likely win due to the WOW counties and Walker looks safe.

If its a very good night for Republicans Renacci could be a surprise win in OH - which is why Trump put in an appearance in Cleveland.

Just damn on the Florida races. Gillum will kill that state. He is horrid not because he is liberal (ok, that alone would do it) but is corrupt.

Scott will win but DeSantis could lose due to ticket splitting.

Blackburn is safe and will win going away. Same for Hawley in MO.

I don’t know what more could be done. He’s got the Republicans activated, the economy is roaring, he’s done what the voters wanted, he fought and fought and fought. He’s outworked them, out-hustled them and counter-punched like a master. If this doesn’t work, then I guess we’d better grab our rifles and march, because if the voters buy the load of crock from the socialists, we’re in a terrible mess.

DeSantis will win by a bigger margin than Scott. IMO the Wilder/Bradley effect will outweigh white women guilt. And Gillum is a much more flawed candidate than Nelson who will be harder to beat. The power of incumbency should not be underestimated.

Republicans can screw it up by staying home.

If we defy the odds, thank President Trump for bringing the voters out.

No one else is able to do it.

Still wondering why Pam Bondi didn’t run for governor.

Suppose I need to do some investigating but I think she would have been a much stronger candidate than DeSantis.

Gillum isn’t just liberal and corrupt. He is a viscous race baiter in style of the obama. He’ll divide and conquer as the kenyan did. No doubt.
