Years ago,there used to be a big Billboard Signs as you entered the States of Oregon and Washington that said “Welcome. If you are from California, enjoy your stay in our State, but please return to your California home”. The signs didn’t work. The Cities of Portland and Seattle have become California Migrant settlements that outnumber the rural Conservative voters in those States.
So how do you square the fact that Portland had Vera Katz as their mayor for three terms. She didn’t come to Oregon from California.
