Rep. Elijah Cummings, ranking member of the House Oversight Committee, said Sunday that caravan migrants seeking asylum should be able to enter the country immediately, challenging President Trump’s efforts to keep them in Mexico while their cases are processed.
“That’s not the law. They should be allowed to come in, seek asylum. That’s the law,” Mr. Cummings said on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”
Asked if he would support changing the law, the Maryland Democrat said, “No.”

You see gang this is the problem. “Law makers” like this don’t know what the law is. Cummings is a idiot but because he is Black he can say anything that comes to his small mind. If as in this case says something stupid the media ignore it. If by some chance there is a grain of truth in what a Democrat like Cummings says, the media portrays his remark as something Churchill might have said. This never fails.
So the rule is it NEVER matters WHAT a Democrat says, it only matters THAT a Democrat says.
Curiously, the law is exactly the opposite of what this dundering drooler says.
This is what their lawyers will try to hustle thru the 9th. They will try to dictate to Trump to open the borders, grant asylum, and return to the status quo. Trump must soon defy the court, even if the Congress (Dems + Sasse, Cornyn, Burr, Romney, Murkowski) is not on his side.

Cummings is the example of the overall intelligence of the communist Democrats and the RINO’s we deal with. What a total dumb bat.
