President Emmanuel Macron is to deliver an apologetic address on television and announce further tax cuts following a day of violent protests across the country on Saturday. Cities including Paris, Marseille and Bordeaux exploded into violence on Saturday, during the fourth weekend of demonstrations in a row by Yellow Vest protesters. Burned-out cars dotted the streets in several neighbourhoods in Paris on Sunday morning as cleaners swept up the broken glass from smashed shop windows and bus stops. Throughout Saturday, Macron skulked behind the majestic walls of his presidential palace in Paris while outside, his city – and his country – once again erupted in fury.

Macron will begin with tax cuts and will soon jettison other unpopular policies, hoping to stay afloat. No doubt his elite schooling included the question of what de Gaulle might have done to hold onto power. Now Macron will get to apply the fruits of such discussions, the essence of which is to make concessions until the public is appeased.

Le Pen is smart, and appears to be staying on the sidelines waiting for things to crumble to the point to where she can safely step forward and lead.
As Rush has said a few times, one thing the socialists hate is to lose power. We are witnessing this as a fact right now with how they are treating Trump.
It will be dangerous for Le Pen if she takes the lead, in the dying days of the Hitler regime anyone he imagined a threat was killed. I don’t think Macron can get by with this as there will be a full scale civil war at that point. But he is a socialist, and will not go down without some sort of fight, bloody or otherwise.
The French version of Liberty runs red with the blood of their own. It is powerful and tyrannical.

It probably won’t fly, Macabre Macron basically said he wants France gone. That is what his anti nationalism position says. Means he believes France needs to die.
