Top House Democrats on Sunday raised the prospect of impeachment or almost-certain prison time for President Donald Trump if it’s proved that he directed illegal hush-money payments to women, adding to the legal pressure on the president over the Russia investigation and other scandals.

“There’s a very real prospect that on the day Donald Trump leaves office, the Justice Department may indict him, that he may be the first president in quite some time to face the real prospect of jail time,” said Rep. Adam Schiff, the incoming chairman of the House intelligence committee. “The bigger pardon question may come down the road as the next president has to determine whether to pardon Donald Trump.”

Rep. Jerry Nadler, the incoming chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, described the details in prosecutors’ filings Friday in the case of Trump’s former personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, as evidence that Trump was “at the center of a massive fraud.”

“They would be impeachable offenses,” Nadler said. …

“...Try to imagine a couple million armed and ready pissed off patriots descending upon Washington for starters. They are severely underestimating us”.

Yup. lots of folks are just waiting for the straw that breaks the camel’s back.

Meanwhile, CAIR is calling on Muslims to mass on the border Dec. 10th in San Diego in support of the invasion.

“Highly tenuous”

And of course, it doesn’t matter how tenuous. At this point, looks like they’ll probably impeach on any specious Mueller report or SDNY findings, even election funds issues.

If the GOP Senate convicts him (doubtful), Pence or not (if Pence survived, it’d likely mean he was complicit with the RINOs), then the GOP is over; 3rd Party, and maybe even secessions and CW2.

If no conviction, it’s only posturing for 2020.

That’s about it Onyx........round and round it goes.

I haven’t commented much on all these works of mullers because it was easy to see where this would head and ultimately lead from the get go when he was put in charge along with his goons.

I’ll continue to wait and see because so far it’s all been pretty much a nothing burger as is so often stated....and it still is a nothing burger.......except for the costs to taxpayers.

Excellent article. I don’t know how much of it is fully truthful, though I suspect a very high percentage of it is. What I would like to see is General Flynn sue Mueller, Sztrok and the rest of those people for violation of his civil rights under color of authority the morning after his sentencing hearing, whichever way that goes. I’m sure that Mueller is hoping that his leniency in the sentencing memo will encourage Flynn to just go away, and I am hoping that General Flynn has in mind exacting some revenge and some justice for what Mueller has done to his life and to this nation.

Full scale war is upon us. The Rats want it and they’ll get it in spades.

If/when it comes to that; I hope everyone remembers and targets those that got us there. They need to be the first to go. Cut the heads off the snakes and the bodies die or at least lose their momentum and steam.

I wonder do the dems actually believe 80% of the stuff they say about Trump, or just say it for effect. Seriously, paying Stormy Daniels off, is not illegal, and not a campaign violation. Let the dems go for impeachment... they will pay big time in 2020.

when Comey is questioned a second time on 17 Dec., EVERY SINGLE QUESTION should be about Mueller’s investigation is supposed to be about Russian collusion/interference in the 2016 presidential election, so why isn’t it about HRC/DNC/Obama Admin officials/unmasking/CIA/DNI/FBI/MSM/Fusion GPS/Steele/Russians/FISA court judges etc etc etc.

NY Democrat Jerry Nadler was confronted about his comments–made during former President Bill Clinton's impeachment–saying a president can't commit obstruction of justice. NBC's MTP's Chuck Todd asked Nadler about his past comments, in which he was defending Clinton during the impeachment proceedings against him.".......back in 1999, during the debate about whether or not Bill Clinton obstructed justice, you said at the time you were not convinced that a president could obstruct justice," Todd said. "Do you feel that way, that it's not one of the quote ‘might not be impeachable,’ put it this way, that obstruction of justice might not be an impeachable offense?"

NADLER HAVING DEMOCRAT-INDUCED MEMORY PROBLEMS "Well, I don't remember saying that, but if I said it, I said it, but no, I don't agree with that today. A president, anybody can obstruct justice," Nadler said. "Obstruction of justice under certain circumstances might be an impeachable offense. Remember, there is a very big difference between a crime which may or may not be impeachable and an impeachable offense which doesn't have to be a crime."

=================================

Nadler has been a member of Congress since 1992 and was part to the Clinton impeachment proceedings. In a 1998 floor speech, Nadler said Clinton perjuring himself was not an impeachable offense."Perjury is a serious crime and, if provable, should be prosecuted in a court of law. But it may or may not involve the president’s duties and performance in office. Perjury on a private matter, perjury regarding sex, is not a great and dangerous offense against the Nation. It is not an abuse of uniquely presidential power. It does not threaten our form of government. It is not an impeachable offense," Nalder said.

=================================

At the time Nadler said Clinton's perjury with regard to a private sexual affair did not threaten the Constitutional order; it is a crime but was not an impeachable offense. Perjury regarding an attempt by a president to subvert the Constitutional order, to aggrandize power probably, would be an impeachable offense."

That was then----Rep. Jerrold Nadler defended Clinton "eloquently"......arguing the lewinskied Clinton shouldn't be impeached for lying to conceal an affair with an intern.

This is now----incoming chair Nadler is itching to impeach Trump using discredited witnesses like porn star Stormy Daniels and her lawyer Michael Avenatti.

THE IMPEACHMENT OF BILL CLINTON

Attorney David Schippers became a public figure when a friend of his, Congressman Henry Hyde, asked him to be the Chief Investigative Counsel for the US House Judiciary Committee. Schippers was a lifelong Democrat but accepted and took the job in April 1998.

The Hyde Committee was holding an inquiry on whether President Bill Clinton had committed impeachable offences in his handling of the Paula Jones sexual harassment suit..... during which he committed perjury regarding his affair with then-White House Intern Monica Lewinsky. After an investigation, the committee in December 1998 voted to impeach Clinton, a decision supported by Schippers.

On December 10, 1998, Schippers said to the committee: "The President, then, has lied under oath in a civil deposition, lied under oath in a criminal grand jury. He lied to the people, he lied to his Cabinet, he lied to his top aides, and now he's lied under oath to the Congress of the United States. There's no one left to lie to."

=======================================

Upon the passage of H. Res. 611, Clinton was impeached on December 19, 1998, by the House of Representatives
on grounds of perjury to a grand jury (by a 228–206 vote) and obstruction of justice (by a 221–212 vote).

and the president's personal counsel (right).

The Senate voted not to remove the impeached president.

Just how are they going to manage to get 67 votes to convict in the US Senate when there are 53 Republican Senators?

Trump needs to come out and start demanding his constitutional rights be upheld. Enough is quite enough of this destructive garbage.

Just imagine if the parties were switched and the (Rs) were trying to do this against a democrat president, what the democrats would be doing.

Well, you see they say it is suddenly a “campaign finance violation” because they say it “influenced” the 2016 election somehow, and because they say it is such a thing and it didn’t get listed as a campaign expense on campaign finance filings, presto change-o—“felony”, according to them. Even more tortuous than the “penumbras and emanations” in the Roe v. Wade decision.

They think Trump was a fluke. Just get rid of him and all will be great as it was under Obama. Not so—Trump is only a symptom of a bigger movement. Kill Trump Trumpism/Nationalism will live on and new leaders will come forth (Trump Jr. Ivanka, even in time Baron). When one dies in the line of battle he will be replaced by ten more. A dead Trump will be worse for them. He will become a symbol of American exceptionalism. They do not know what terrible hornets nest will come after they “take over”. BUT when done a better America will emerge — a terrible bloodly war, the tree of Liberty will be watered by the blood of tyrants and patriots, as Jefferson predicted. CW II will be the end of America as a superpower.

I believe our democracy is gone, gone, gone. The Democrats will hammer the final nail in the coffin while cramming ballot boxes with fake ballots.

Someone remind me AGAIN how much taxpayer money was paid out for sexual misadventures by members of the HOUSE....

They got caught & were SUPPOSED to pay it back, but I don’t think they ever did.
