Africa is a place we can safely LEAVE ALONE. They don’t have nukes, they don’t launch global wars. They don’t border the USA and are separated by oceans. If they have something worth selling, they will sell it to whoever pays them cash for it. Stay out.
China is buying up mines in Africa. That places us at a competitive disadvantage in manufacturing.

That doesn’t seem to be the case. How China operates is sending in weapons and giving UNSC protection to the warlords in exchange for China getting the resources.
