if i remember correctly- wasn’t this the talking point of chuck schiester last week when he and plastic surgery pelosi had their tantrum in the meeting with President Trump??
Wasn’t it schiester who kept calling for a vote in the House and President Trump said there was no reason to hold a vote in the house because they could not get 60 votes in the Senate??

If that's the case, I'll bet Chuckie will have a harder time rounding up votes than Mitch will.
I'm pretty sure the bill only needs a majority vote to pass, but I could be wrong.
I don’t know why not a single Republican, including Trump, seems to be able to state forthrightly what is really going on with “immigration” and the dems. This is such a simple and devastating case to make, yet no one does it.
What I want to see is anyone on our side stepping before a camera and saying, “The Democrats support unchecked illegal immigration and oppose any real effort to resist it because they have decided that it is easier to import votes than it is to solicit them from Americans. They are deliberately trying to replace American citizens, the only people whose interests they are sworn to represent, with the citizens of other countries. In doing so, Democrats have essentially decided that they would rather represent a nation or nations other than the United States, because they view the people of those countries as easier to manipulate, easier to make dependent upon government handouts, and thereby more likely to consistently keep Democrats in power.
These Democrat leaders have sold out their own country and their own fellow citizens in order to feed their personal lust for power. They all swore oaths to defend America and its constitution, yet they turn right around and betray America for their own aggrandizement and enrichment.
There is no other conclusion that explains Democrats’ relentless opposition to any effective border enforcement, or to any proposed voter integrity measures. And America, the reason these same Democrats oppose a border wall is because they know that a physical barrier will be effective and that it will continue to do its job regardless of the wishes of feckless politicians. They want the ability, as in the past, to promise border security while seeking your vote, but to then walk away from enforcement efforts once the election is over. The wall takes that control away from them, and they can’t stand it.
America, politicians who swear an oath to protect you when they know they have no intention of ever doing so, and who prioritize the desires of the citizens of other nations over your safety and security are seditionists at best and traitors at worst. They care more about their own power and wealth than they do about you and about this great nation, and they must be stopped.”
I never see ANYONE say anything remotely this direct and clear about this issue. It drives me crazy. We just hear the usual pablum about how “we are a nation of immigrants”, and “most immigrants are good people”, ...blah...blah...blah. Even those who take the hardest line on this issue call them “immigrants”, for example. THEY’RE NOT IMMIGRANTS! Immigrants are those who WE permit into our country through an immigration process that WE define. These people are illegal aliens and invaders, no matter how “nice” some of them may be (debatable).
The Democrats are doing nothing less than trying to replace the American electorate with a gullible, dependent Third World underclass that they can more easily manipulate for their own gain. It’s as simple as that, and someone needs to start shouting it from the rooftops and keep shouting it until people start to get it.

I thought of this a while ago as well, but I fear that few in Congress are serious about funding the wall, although many pretend to be. Our representatives don’t represent us.

I know we’ve fouled up in our country and made God angry, but even so, I believe God won’t do such a thing as that in order to punish us.

There's no way that Congress will allow a shutdown to continue that long. They don't have the stomach for the heat they'd be subjected to.
I heard on fox that bob corker from Ten. Has gone home and will not come back for the senate vote. I hate these worthless bastards.
