I’m not too sure they even need the Senate in this take down, if I’m reading the Amendment correctly. The next in line (though this is not defined), if the VP is missing, would be the SOTH, who immediately assumes the office of president after the majority of Congress declares POTUS unfit. And they’ve already planted the idea POTUS is unfit.
That’l buy a lot of Concertina wire to start! Go for it.

Schumer and Pelosi approved $25 Billion for border security and The Wall last year, and billions for border security in 2006 ...but refuse to include $5 Billion now...NOT setting well with Americans at all!.....The Wall is ‘essential’ to national security.
$50 says I can predict my Senators’ votes, much as I could probably have told you how my Congress-critter would vote earlier today.
Isn’t it a real shame that 98% of the votes cast by the 535 clowns under the big top in Washington can be predicted before a bill is even read into the Congressional Record?

The House just passed the wall funding..Will see what happens in the Senate, but knowing some of the open border loving schmucks in the Senate, it probably won’t pass..unless they do the nuclear option
Would love to really pin point who’s giving the orders....it isn’t anyone in Congress...they’re like the tellers at a bank window.
I believe the Senate rules provide that no Senator may be recognized to speak more than twice in any legislative day. The Majority Leader determines the length of a legislative day, therefore Sen. McConnell could start the debate and make it known that it would be one continuous legislative day until everyone who wants to speak has had their two opportunities. When everyone has spoken, a cloture vote would not be required and a simple majority vote on passage would be taken. They should be finished sometime around the first of the year or sooner if the democrats realized he was serious. Possible but not likely to happen.

But to go to conference is a "debatable" motion . So it's probably subject to filibuster.
They want to go home for the holidays.
They’ll refuse to pass the bill over a measly $5 billion? They could.
But if they miss Christmas, it won’t be Trump’s fault.
Getting 60 votes in the Senate will be tough, considering you’re starting with 44 or so republican votes. But as I’m learning the President is a great deal maker.Somehow he’ll get this done.
