Day and Night vision that can see out for miles, and pick out the heat signature of a kid lying under a bush not moving. A few guys on a shift can watch the whole 14 miles of the San Diego Border. A big force multiplier.

That’s a great idea. I think ill remove my front door and put in a thermal imaging device that allows me to know when someone comes in uninvited. /s
This does us no good. It simply means we intercept them and delay their journey for a few weeks as we document and log them in, provide then with a phone and a court date before turning them over to Catholic social services.

I remember reading articles about border entry and exit points. They have cameras that scan license plates for stolen vehicles. Due to lack of staffing, the positive hits were being ignored by staff. Drones, sensors and cameras are worthless.

The US has tons of radioactive waste.
Embed the waste in a series of concrete blocks and leave these at the border. Mark the area to warn of deadly radiation. Add a ‘safety fence’.
