Police were searching for a gunman early Saturday after three people died in a shooting at a bowling alley near Los Angeles.
The shooting was reported just before midnight local time (3 a.m. ET), Torrance police said in a statement. The city is part of the Los Angeles metropolitan area.
Officers and fire officials arrived at Gable House Bowl to find multiple people wounded.
Two men were taken to hospital for treatment while two other men sought medical attention on their own. None of the injured were employees of the venue.
The three men killed were pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The identities of the victims have not yet been released.
Police have launched a homicide investigation, but no word on possible suspects or motive have been released.

There was a stabbing in the parking lot of the local VFW recently.
The hall was rented out for a kids birthday party.

True, it’s easy to mock and jump to conclusions, but it is pretty easy to guess right on these incidents too.
I hail from a region where this kind of thing doesn’t happen, I’m sure partly because the population is so low, and also because most families are still intact.
But that too is changing with meth and opiates, and with the unending assault on church and family.
I grew up on a reservation out West and I’ve seen and heard all the stereotypes there, and often get pissed about them, even as I’ve also seen the truth of many.
I wish we could turn it all around. The previous president was perfectly positioned to make a good start of it, and instead he widened the divides, and seemed himself to prefer hanging out with the privileged, as they say, rather than those who needed him to live and lead by example.

We have old folks, kids and dogs in there all the time.

Back in my home area the young Chairman served as a Marine and graduated from university and law school.

People go to that bowling alley from adjacent areas. Normally it is a family friendly place. IMHO, this was started by gang mutants..

BTW last night the V was packed.
Dinner was Goulash, Home Fries, Green Beans, Salad and Spice Cake.
Pool was played, copious amounts of beer and exotic beverages were consumed.
I am happy to report no one was stabbed. :)
