I worked on a couple of projects in San Antonio, staying in a motel off of I-37. The motel parking lot exited out to a southbound one-way, local street adjacent to the highway.
My first night out, I was going to get some dinner, when the desk clerk advised me to take extra care pulling out of the parking lot. I asked him why, and he said “It’s a busy street,” which I thought was strange since it didn’t seem that busy.
Another guest pulled me aside. He explained, “he’s reluctant to tell you, but it’s the illegals around here. At night, they drive with their headlights off.”
“What? Why?” I asked.
“To avoid attraction, from the cops or rival gangs.”
Sure enough, I saw several cars driving at night with their headlights off.
They don't care about protecting American citizens.
Thanks to BTerclinger for the above!
Please read my tagline.
There is no doubt in my mind that presidents from the past would not hesitate to evoke an emergency.
Certainly Eisenhower, and probably Truman too.
Yep. The Home Depot near my former place of work in Burbank actually built a shelter for job seekers, complete with picnics tables and a roof.
Did they get a permit? Build it to code? Make the take it down.
Well, I dont live in CA anymore. The structure has been up for over 10 years, as I notice it when we visit and happen to be in that neighborhood.
I wish there was a solid way to get ideas like this to Trump or Steven Miller, or someone on the WH staff.
I watch the pressers on the WH youtube channel. I’m always surprised how low the view count is. Every american should be taking the time to watch the pressers directly at the source. It appears few do so a lot of Trump’s message is lost or completely out of context when published by legacy media.

Just spoke with a friend last night who told me both her adult children were hit by illegal aliens as they were driving last year.
The first illegal was driving on the right hand of the road in a work zone to avoid the line of cars that were waiting the go ahead signal from the construction worker. He broadsided her son who was following instructions. Was the illegal afraid the worker was going to check for his non-existent drivers license?
The daughter was repeatedly rammed by an illegal as she was stopped at an intown traffic light.
This happened in a Midwest sanctuary state.
To Lt. Gov Dan Patrick today:
“There is an almost $20million Go Fund Me account for the border wall getting bigger each day through donations. The obstructionists and resisters in Congress say that the US government can’t accept or use the money. Can Texas??? If yes -— once Texas has a plan and starts building I suspect the fund will increase exponentially and we will have all the money we need to fully secure the Texas border. Then, as Mexico pays for the wall through taxes or other means, the money can be earmarked for first responders, veterans, families who lost loved ones to illegals, etc. It’s worth at least looking into. And, if we need to sue the Federal Government for not doing its job, I know you’re the man who can do it and WIN for Texas!!!”
It takes just a minute to send a message here:

Its no longer just an emergency. Its a disaster situation.
Build the Wall!
Is that the Walmart where Peter Strozk could smell all the deplorables?
Last year and this year we have had shoot-outs in the streets for the first time since we moved here 26 years ago.
We have bands of illegals walking the main drag, usually groups of five or more. They have nothing to do, they aren't regularly employed and they are all young healthy males.
The local community has been forced to accept 400 or more illegals because INS can't hold them all in their facilities. The do-gooders and the churches are putting them in "safe houses" throughout our neighborhood. You can readily see the deterioration in the houses, junk in the yards, dead shrubs and decaying trash and used diapers strewn around.
You can see little baggies and syringes in the streets in our residential area along with empty Bud cans.
There are hispanic males riding bicycles routinely around our block looking very interested in open garages. We have watched them circle back for a slower cruise. We have timed our departure from the driveway to make sure they are well clear of associating our car with the house.
These are all new things in the neighborhood, they are a sure sign of trouble ahead. I don't need some libtard or romney rino telling me there is no need to be worried.
I may have been the only customer that spoke English.
I have a friend who teaches, and she has to give up her valuable time every summer to keep brushing up on Spanish and keep it current so she can teach to many children.
I’ll tell you what...
Richmond is in the Old South, and I’m here in Alabama, also part of the old South.
I try to explain this to my Yankee friends, but sometimes I think they just don’t get it.
That is, that while a lot blacks migrated North into places like Detroit, Chicago, New York, California, especially during and after the World wars, a lot of them stayed here.
Every job in the South, especially, and I’d say that includes Richmond, Virginia, taken by an illegal alien, is stolen from a poor black family.
How the democrats have ruined them!
First they enslaved them, then Jim Crowed and lynched them, then they put them on the fatherless welfare plantation, and now, they’re important foreigners to take what work they still have from them.
Expect for a one in a million rap star or sports player, I can’t think of any blacks who rose out of the welfare ghetto without working a job, and then another job, and then into a career. I can’t.
We really need to stress how horribly illegal aliens, and especially their acceptance from democrats wanting their votes, have hurt our black communities.
Sanctuary cities are used to lynch blacks.
There, I’ve said it.
Better job seekers than panhandlers and petty thieves.
He globalist Jim. Those are scabs taking American jobs.
