The joke is BeZoWaPo.
“To make things more absurd, they actually fact-checked Trump, saying the burgers werent piled a mile-high.”
Sheesh! You really must break things down into simple sentences for the media. Don’t say things like ‘hamburgers piled a mile high’ if they obviously aren’t really stacked a mile high! Keep it simple as possible.
See POTUS. See POTUS celebrate football win with players at White House. See POTUS and players enjoy simple American food.
And the time he sent out to Chicago for pizza delivered to the White House?
In a video published by TMZ Sports, [Clemson QB Trevor] Lawrence said he enjoyed the meal. “It was awesome,” he said. “We had McDonald’s and everything. It was good.”
Will Western Civilization survive this Orange Man?
(pardon my raciss phraseology)
“And the time he sent out to Chicago for pizza delivered to the White House? “
Yes! Gotta wonder what all that was about.
The hamburgers were piled in individual “pile groups” with an average height of 14.347 inches which was confirmed by the attending representative of the Bureau of Weights and Measurements.
Considering the relative distances from D.C. one might think it was a slight to New York City.
But I don’t remember the political particulars of the time. :)
many people thought that “hot dog” and “pizza” was some kind of code. It certainly makes no sense to order $64K worth of hot dogs to the WH.
We generally laugh at people so dense that they don't get figures of speech as being unsophisticated or just plain morons.

True that.
Bob Marley extra crispy?
Next time, the President should get 5 billion cubic feet of Popeye’s chicken and 300,000 yard containers of Bob Evans Mac and Cheese. Media heads will EXPLODE!
Yes, I think he was! :)
Because the players would have said they loved it and thought the president was great.
Can't have anything like that get out. Doesn't match their narrative of hating everything Trump says and does 24/7.
I guess that's why media coverage of Trump is more than 90% negative!
Okay, I’m just dieing to know, did POTUS Trump also order a large fry with those burgers?
Absolutely. If they’d served a 5 course meal with a full table setting, the MSM would complain that it’s too ostentatious during a government shutdown (gasp!) and that it intimidated the players.
No, it's definitely a joke, obviously.
Okay, that last part makes me think this was a joke,
That's because it's a joke.
The silver platter remark, the analysis of the food, the calories, and the bill...I think this was an attempt at a joke.
That's because it's a joke.
if it was,
Oh it definitely is.
If this was indeed meant to be a serious story,
No, it obviously is a joke.
