I’ll take the posters’ word and assume he showed proper diligence and respect to his betters.

I don’t claim to be perfect — and certainly not forgiving, so I won’t waste time reading or listening to anything Ted says.

If I want an intelligent, conservative voice in the Senate, I’ll pick Cotton.

I have been a fan of Cotton but am deeply troubled by his membership in the Senate intel committee that is openly colluding with the Mueller Coup. That he is standing silent while being privy to this treasonous activity is totally unacceptable. It reeks of Deep State careerism, unfortunately.

Trump bides his time until Ginsberg is no more.

Roberts turned out to be a worthless Bush appointee, so it will require one more justice before he can take this before the courts.

Then he will have the military construct the wall.

I said it would be the military the first time he mentioned the wall...

Some good stuff, but a serious misstatement. He asks for barriers at high crossing points. I think it is highly likely that the 600+ miles of “wall” already built already surround those and most border towns. What we need is more personnel to search the vehicles crossing the borders and entering our ports. Only 1 in 5 vehicles is actually searched. Here is a recent article on the signing:

https://www.aol.com/article/news/2019/01/25/backing-down-trump-agrees-to-end-shutdown-without-border-wall-money/23653017/

And a great interactive link viewing the border: https://www.usatoday.com/border-wall/us-mexico-interactive-border-map/

I hope Cruz tries again to have El Chappo pay for the wall. I really like that idea although it will not be immediately available. Certainly we can seize some of his assets.

Wow I like that

Especially the last paragraph

It would be nice if this would strip Pelosi Schumer and dozens of other high-profile politicians of their riches

Which are ill-gotten gains

The smart crooks long ago figured out that getting themselves elected to federal office to make unconstitutional tax laws to fill their pockets is a much easier way to make a living than robbing banks."

Could it be that some of the most adamant objectors to border walls are on the payroll of the cartels?

Maybe it is time for an investigation.

If only we had more like Cruz among our ranks - lots of concern troll crybabies who contribute nothing to the cause except a constant barrage of Chicken Little crap.

Pelosi reportedly has a net worth of over $29M. Perhaps it is time for POTUS to start asking in his tweets how she became so wealthy on a Congresswoman’s salary of ~$233K annually?

Even better, have Treasury audit her returns.

Unless there’s something most of us are unaware of, she would appear to be getting some serious $$ from someone. It’s not a leap to think at least some of that is from Mexican Cartels.

C’mon, POTUS. Shine some light on this. There’s a reason beyond simple abject political hatred that she is so dug in. Find it.

Yes, he’s a creep. Yes, he is the Zodiac killer.

give it a rest and support real change in DC. Texas does not need the 49 bitches and DC to survive.

Would be glad to trade Cornyn for the Honorable Senator Ted Cruz and Texas Independence.

So Trump has NO choice he has to declare a national emergency..I GUARANTEE you in 3 weeks absolutely NOTHING is going to change

So what is going to change in 3 weeks that would create this national emergency if NOW it is really not that beautiful of a national emergency to declare one?

PDJT is setting himself up to lose in the courts by letting the "national emergency" role out of his mouth and fingers every day and yet gives it another 3 weeks.

He should have declared it months ago after the BS meeting with Pelousy and Scamer in December.

If Trump and the Repubs think that the media will hold Nazi Pelosi's feet to the fire to make her keep her promise to seriously negotiate border security after the government reopens, well they're in for a big face slap.

Trumps only move now is to declare a national emergency (and ignore any Deep State judge who tries to stop him).

What must be understood is that kicking the can down the road is agreeing to kicking it off a cliff on February 15.

Nothing has changed except Democrats are given an opportunity to provide the money for the wall in the coming three weeks.

It is a great statement. But what people seem to be missing here - and I admit I haven’t gone through the entire thread - is his underlying confirmation that the POTUS clearly intends to declare a national emergency. In other words, it’s no longer just “being considered”. I don’t think Cruz makes that statement without inside knowledge or tacit approval from the White House. This will be interesting to watch.

The dems will not negotiate but that is ok. I think this was a smart move by Trump. Of course, there will be a run for the border for the next three weeks.

Every year the Democrats will get another million Mexican voters. Mueller is closing in so Trump will be one term. It is finished

Finished? Did you say finished? Nothing is finished until we decide it is! Was it finished when the German’s bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no! And it ain’t finished now!
