The state of Illinois is lurching toward a$15.00 per hour minimum wage. (Final implementation in 2025. ((if man is still alive, if you follow the reference.)) )
Some labor leader was speaking before the legislature promoting this idea and said such a law would affect or benefit 25% of all workers in the state.
I assume that does not mean that 1/4 of every workers in the state makes minimum wage. BUT, that high an impact is very pervasive and helps explain why Illinois is turning into a 3rd world toilet.

If you are a cabal leader you definitely want $15 an hour minimum wage in the US.
the chaos that would create is enormous since businesses that have relocated over here would once again go back to the third world and create endless chaos for the US.
I am the treasurer of a fraternal not for profit organization here in Ill. We barely get by every year. Our members constantly complain about our drink and food prices, and they say our dues are too high.
This idiotic move by our new communist governor and legislature should end the complaints once and for all. It will also result in loss of jobs for several people who because of disabilities etc are mostly unemployable in the public sector.
