Someone Just Noticed The Middle-Class Revival Going On Under Trump

Middle-Class Economics: USA Today ran a surprising story on Tuesday headlined "Can the middle-class revival under Trump last?" It's surprising — shocking really — because it might just be the first time a major news outlet has admitted that there has been a middle-class revival under Trump.

We did a search for news stories that used the phrase "middle-class revival" since Trump took office. Other than the USAT story and a syndicated column written a year-and-a-half ago, we found none.

Even a more generic search for "Trump middle class" turns up mostly stories about how Trump's tax cuts supposedly aren't helping them. And how his trade war with China will hurt them.

Only Bad News For Middle Class The press was also happy to feature comments from Democrats bashing Trump. Such as this one from Sen. Elizabeth Warren: "The president and his administration have not just been indifferent to workers, they have launched an all-out attack on workers."

Reporters made no attempt to set the record straight on that lie.

Nor did the army of media fact checkers bother to correct Stacey Abrams, who in her response to Trump's State of the Union" painted a grim picture of the middle class under Trump.

It that speech, she declared that "families' hopes are being crushed by Republican leadership that ignores real life or just doesn't understand it." That "far too many hardworking Americans are falling behind, living paycheck to paycheck." She said the GOP tax cuts "rigged the system against working people." She said "plants are closing, layoffs are looming, and wages struggle to keep pace with the actual cost of living."

None if it is true. But for the most part, fact checkers simply overlooked it.

This articles galore about alleged anger over tax refunds ... but no word about how much those same people’s fed tax went down every check and how much more in total of their own money they keep.

Coordinated, of course, with lefty pols (e.g. Kamala Harris) lying about “middle-class tax hikes”

TWO WHOLE YEARS you’ve been backing President Trump?
Nobody supported President Trump much longer than that. Candidate Trump, yes - but POTUS Trump? No.

Seriously, when Mr. Trump came down the escalator, I was unhappy. Why? Because I only knew of him - and, living on Long Island, I did know of him - as a real estate mogul famous mostly for a “colorful” social life and association with fake wrestling shows. And as a New Yorker who got along quite well with an awful lot of Democrats, and was not known for conservatism in any way.

And you have to admit that it is not difficult to name billionaires who are notably “liberal.” Let’s just mention that well-known “Republican,” Michael Bloomberg. I really only got comfortable about his candidacy when he published that list of SCOTUS nomination candidates.

Bloomberg is talking about buying the Democrat nomination and the presidency, and back then it sounded exactly like “The Donald,” as he was known, was assaying to do exactly that in the Republican Party. Or to simply get the nomination, and let Hillary win. Like Mitt did.

Yes. A few people understood what I meant and a few called me out for calling out IBD.

As long as IBD is on our side, I’ll cut them some slack. ;)

I think PDJT is doing a fine job. I didn’t vote for him in the Primary, so it’s not like I don’t ‘get it.’

I’m just thankful he’s proving to be what a lot of us were hoping for. He hasn’t let me down yet, and he’s been the best thing to come along since President Reagan.

MAGA! :)
