Vice President Mike Pence is making a trip to South Carolina to help kickoff U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham's bid for a fourth term.

Graham's campaign says Pence will be with Graham at events in Myrtle Beach and Greenville on March 30. In a release, Graham praised Pence as "a strong ally and close friend." The 63-year-old senator has often fielded challenges from the right in his previous re-election campaigns, subject to criticism that he's been too willing to work with Democrats to accurately represent conservative South Carolinians.

Out with the old Lindsey , in with the new Graham.

President Trump is pleased with his support.

Let’s just hope that Grahamnesty’s new interest in conservatism instead of “reaching across the aisle” is not the Six Year Itch. To give him credit, maybe he had been hypnotized all those years by McCainiac and now the spell is broken.

I still await the next big amnesty push to see where Grahamnesty lines up. That and meddling in third world wars will be the test.

He plays his cards according to the current Power Structure. He’s ok for now. The question is who will be his new John McCain?

I think Linda was genuinely pissed at dems for no reciprocation at the Kavanaugh hearings.

It appears Lindsey change his position for re-election. As soon as he is re-elected he will turn against Trump. I will vote against him in the primary, I have a long memory.

South Carolina is about to be flooded with liberals from overgrown Asheville and Charlotte.

Of course, that’s why Graham has sounded so reasonable of late!

It’s re-election-time Lindsey!

No, you’ve forgotten, like I had forgotten—every six years he plays to his local voters to get re-elected.

We’ve seen this Lindsey before.

Agree. Let’s use this 2019-2020 window to confirm lots of good conservative judges before Jekyll turns to Hyde.

The last time he had a bunch of opponents. Hopefully we get together and pick one opponent to rally behind. The Swamp use the same play book to get Lindsey re-elected by putting up a bunch of opponents to split the vote so he can win the primary. That play book did not work Against President Trump.

Agree, that's the best strategy. Someone with statewide name recognition too. Trey Gowdy is a name that comes to mind, but I don't think he'd run against his buddy Graham.

It's a strange scenario. Liberals from high tax, high cost, over-regulated states are all good with the ideology until they retire and leave. They move from New Jersey, New York, Michigan, Minnesota, etc... Then they confuse their new found freedoms with liberal guilt they impose on those new neighbors where they escaped to?

Most of the Carolinas, Florida, Georgia, Arizona, and New Mexico , have been taken over by these types.
