Stacey Abrams says 2020 run ‘on the (cough) table’ (will appoint Oprah Fast Food Czar)

Stacey Abrams — who rose to national prominence in the 2018 Georgia gubernatorial election — said she is not ruling out a 2020 presidential bid. Democrat Abrams tweeted the announcement soon after saying she would not run until 2028. “20 years ago, I never thought I’d be ready to run for POTUS before 2028. But life comes at you fast. Now 2020 is definitely on the table......” Abrams wrote.
Abrams, an ex-state House minority leader in Georgia, (and a romance book novelist) narrowly lost the 2018 gubernatorial election. Abrams would have been the first black woman elected to the post. She also delivered the Democratic rebuttal to Pres Trump’s State of the Union address.
In a NYT interview, Abrams said she’s mulling her options. “I’m not saying I would be the best candidate, but I’m not going to dismiss it out of hand the way others do,” she said. (Excerpt) Read more at nypost.com ...

Georgia Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams used to moonlight as a steamy romance novelist. From 2001 to 2009, Abrams produced eight books under the pseudonym Selena Montgomery. She claimed to have sold over 100,000 copies and to have won several awards for her writing. The Federalist posted several steamy passages from Abrams’ work.
