Joe Biden said at a California campaign event that the nation has an obligation to provide health care for people, including those who came into the country illegally. 'I think that anyone who is in a situation where they're in need of healthcare, regardless of whether they are documented or undocumented, we have an obligation to see that they are cared for," Biden said in Los Angeles, where he held a major fundraiser.
He didn't specify what type of care he had in mind, or whether it would be the same care provided to citizens and legal immigrants. "That's why I think we need more clinics around the country,' Biden said.

The issue became a flashpoint in 2014 when the Obama administration elected not to extend coverage to 'Dreamers' or others protected from deportation. Emergency Medicaid programs do subsidize hospitals who are obligated to provide emergency and maternity care, regardless of status.
Biden's comment got publicized by a GOP research director and picked up by the conservative Daily Wire. The former vice president, who has called for allowing any American to buy into a public option for Medicare, also called for people to 'tone down the rhetoric' on immigration.
'This idea that undocumented - and by the way a significant portion of undocumented folks in our country are there because they've overstayed their visas. It's not people breaking down gates coming across the border,' Biden said.

During Obama’s campaign for this 2nd term, this clown came to my little town. I thought, based on the number of police cars blocking streets, there’d been a bank robbery or worse. After parking asked an officer who seemed annoyed at the situation and stated....VP Biden is here today to eat a cookie. I”m like what? Officer chuckled and said it was for security. The guy is in town for a photo op basically. Soooo....I go to see where this guy is and he is NOT in the cookie/bakery place. Instead he’s at a small restaurant next door. Why? Because in the end, when he went to order his dang cookie, the shop owners, who were conservative, would not allow Biden’s camera in to take photos. Therefore, Biden quickly left and went where the liberal store owner was more than happy to oblige him and his camera. There you go...true story.
I think Joe should be in a home.
Younger Americans are going to get a real shock when they reach Medicare age. After paying into the system for 5 DECADES, I still have to pay for Part B, my supplemental Insurance AND Prescription coverage. The money for those coming out of my Social Security, is almost the monthly rate of my former private insurance and I STILL HAVE TO PAY THE DIFFERENCE WHEN I GO TO A DOCTOR OF MY CHOOSING. Never mind, I suspect Medicare won’t be around much longer, for anyone. And when the Government is the only one covering your health care, there is now where to turn when the Government decides you won’t be getting the care you need to live.
Did you ever think that maybe, he doesn’t even KNOW he’s running for President?
It is shameful how today’s politicians cater to illegals.
Meanwhile the Americans who put them in office get hosed over and over again.

But I apologize to our local DMV. They are actually staffed on Saturday (they take Monday off instead) and you can generally get in and out in 20 minutes. You take a number and sit down. An entirely different world from California where lines wrap around the building and you can plan on killing an entire morning or afternoon.
